As someone who has previously worked in a record shop and pressed records, I can’t recommend this enough. What I learned in my time working in a record shop was absolutely invaluable and stuff i would have never learned otherwise. from learning how many copies distro will “actually give you” to typical trade-in scams, RSD preparation, and everything in between.

no offense but Brandon was pretty useless in Nothing, he could barely play his simple chords half the time. I don’t see why they would go out of their way to bring him back on board to collab on anything. Especially when Doyle is 10000x the musician he is.

it’s literally the first time on vinyl this is from the hayday of rough cut DIY hardcore - there’s a reason it sounds like it does. some of the best hardcore acts on the planet sound “worse” than this. ...unlike nowadays where they are avidly working with producers....

the vocals are what make this band what they are. It’s obviously not going to be for everyone just like death grips isn’t for everyone but it is what makes this band so special and I wouldn’t have it any other way. also was luckily enough to catch them at Coachella before they broke up that year and they are phenomenal live.
