  1. no. fuck children, too. i have a winning record on that front.
  2. i totally miscounted that, sorry i just woke up to a kitty dome. 4 dogs, spread between 3 houses. definitely not as bad.
  3. that just shows that cat people are cold uncaring skid marks on the fabric of society who are unwilling to give up any of their attention to care for anyone besides themselves.
  4. what is wrong with you? why can't you just stop at one cat? why can't you just stop at one cat toy? none of my dogs have ever needed anything more than a light scratching and one toy at a time. somehow my family went from 6 dogs and 0 cats. to 6 cats and 2 dogs. my mom just bought a god damn cat dome for her kittens to play in. bottom line, fuck cat people.
  5. lemme get a ride to fest. i promise to be really really drunk and really really fun. at least really really drunk.
  6. Going on the record as having been in a Straight Edge band with Porcell and playing Straight Edge Revenge, and I was definitely smoking and drinking that weekend. Suck it.
  7. Scott, buy a chalice and a 4 pack of Duvel. That's what you really want.
  8. Don't complain about Tampa bandwagon fans until you have to interact with them IN PERSON every single day. I can't believe that's the complaint. What a bunch of ants at a picnic. This series is sweet to me not only because I am BACK in the Tampa area, but the Phillies spring training stadium is literally ACROSS the street from me. My first baseball memories are of Phillies A games at the old spring training stadium. In fact, coming into Clearwater there is a sign (right next to the voted best beach by Sports Illustrated one) that says "Spring Training Home of The Phillies" which has now been replaced by "GO PHILS!" and a brand new sign that says "GO RAYS!". It's awesome to me. Fuck people that refuse to watch this series, that's some real ass bandwagon fandom. That being said, Fuck the Yankees.
  9. http://www.sptimes.com/2006/12/10/Tampabay/Teacher_snared_in_sti.shtml that was my 7th grade social studies teacher. i saw him at a fall out boy show once.
  10. my grandfather died right before thanksgiving last year, and my uncle right after the year before. its been a really crappy few years, and i'm so sick of saying goodbye to people i love.
  11. she tore her ACL about 2 months ago, and was doing okay and recovering after the surgery pretty well. her appetite the first few days upon return home from the surgery wasn't very good, but she was doing better, eating the glucosamine laden food after not being very interested for a while. her breathing got bad, and they checked her lungs and heart out at follow up for the surgery, her heart beat was accelerated and her lungs had fluid in them. she was put on heart pills and diuretics to help. her appetite apparently continued to suffer, and she went from nearly 40 lbs about 6 months ago, to 32/34 in july/august, to 22 lbs yesterday when my mom brought her to the vet for another follow up. they let her out to pee, and when she came back inside, she collapsed. they don't know what it was, and we'll probably never know. we assume that her heart just couldn't take it anymore (her heart rate was 155bpm the last time my mom checked, and the average is apparently 120ish.) i don't know. i hate it. the last she ate was cat food (???), and she and my mom spent their last moments together investigating some kittens in the office, so my mom adopted the two kittens, so that's kind of good. the dog i grew up with died the day before my birthday, and this one died the day after my mom's birthday. i hate this feeling. sorry i talked so much, i'm sad.
  12. legally, maybe. but, uh, i don't know. it'll probably go off without a hitch. the room where the last show i went to there was in, was maybe 15-20 feet long and 10 feet across. ruled.
  13. I do. But I am from Tampa and co-run a central florida based "hardcore" website/messageboard.

  16. yeah, us fucking six-points and our god damn ramadan. here! here! apple cake and manischewitz for all! sparkling kashrut grape juice for the edge kids.
  17. It Dies Today has absolutely nothing to do with Hopesfall. No Wings To Speak Of > Anything It Dies Today ever did. haha, that's so far from the truth. but okay. the first it dies today record is a great example of how good metalcore was, hopesfall never put out anything worth listening to. but obviously no one wants to be honest and say that they mistakenly really loved this band because they didn't know any better at the time. missing this band, and talking about this band in 2008, is just like talking about how much you loved hanson. i hope that everyone that likes hopesfalls gets hit in the mouth tonight, really hard.
  18. band was together in 1998 i believe, first record came out in 1999 so they definitely were not on the outer fringes trying to get in. i was referring to quality of the music not longevity or time period. of course you'd know that if you'd read what i posted, and not just gotten butthurt about it.
  19. hopesfall pretty much always sucked across the boards, hate to break it to you. when metalcore was really good from like 96-2002, this was not a band that was part of that. they were on the outer fringes trying to get in, but one too many pinch harmonics kept them from being there. and that's kind of sad, because it dies today was definitely one of the later good bands, they just got real bad real fast.
