Couple of alternatives I've found if you don't want to go the Discogs route

    www.myrecordlist.com

    www.recordnerd.com

Thanks for the options @rrd. I'm currently trying to finish my list on Record Nerd but it is quite cumbersome.

I'm not sure what some of  the Discogs lovers don't understand in this thread (and don't get me wrong I love Discogs and am a regular contributor).

DeadFormat offered some nice features in a list form that is not cluttered like Discogs. Don't kid yourself Discogs can look cluttered to the untrained eye.

-DeadFormat allowed you to make a nice --- customizable --- list that was easy to maintain and add new sections and additions on the fly.

-I could go into my "12" Albums and EPs" section and push  "Add New" and just type in 20 records in detail and hit submit and DeadFormat would put it all in alphabetical order immediately. So basically you can add 20 new things to that list as fast as you could type and at a push of a button it appears on your list in order.

-Not only could you make your own unique titled sections but when you had a list of sections you could move each section to any order you'd like.

-You could also have individual pictures on each item you had (not a general image used on Discogs) to show the condition of the actual item you own.

In short, DeadFormat was a way to have items on a list that were divided up any way you could want and have ease of use included. With your own pictures of the items all in a simple list form.

I hoped to see something about DKC every time I check this thread. So happy to get this soundtrack.

I ordered DKC as well, I love that soundtrack. I am really curious what the jacket art will look like.

All I saw in my email notification was DKC and my heart skipped a beat. Assuming it's still available, where do I preorder from? Thanks!

But he didn't confirm only alluded to.

Right on decent feedback, im really hesitant to buy tapes from the asian indonesian market as i am afraid they will be bootlegs and not totally the real cassette..any ideas to that? i saw a bunch of mxpx tapes..but again..from Malaysia or something so i was cautious

I know The Ever Passing Moment is available from Thailand I think that one should be fine (not boot). I have a couple of full albums from Thailand and a couple from Malaysia, but I would say most of my foreign tapes are Indonesian. I think tapes from Malaysia can be tricky (boot or not) but quite a few of my Malaysian tapes have IFPI holographic stickers as a sort of proof of legitimacy. Most Universal tapes put out in Indonesia have a sticker as well. Tapes from Thailand tend to have an IFPI price sticker on the front of the case.

So to:dr - I don't think you have to worry about most Asian territory released tapes.

  5. Many major label tapes were still being printed in the Asian market up until 2008. With the last major albums coming out in that year of 2008 in Indonesia. But recently it's mostly been about indie bands releasing tape copies of their albums or EPs. But I hope many more major artists release on the tape format. But to answer your question, I don't think tapes ever really went away, which the same is said about vinyl.

Its possible to dislike both. Not everything is a black and white hypocrisy. Two thoughts can exist at the same time.

As a conservative, should I ask you to defend Bush? Should I assume that you are an imperialist war-mongerer(sp?)? Go ahead, dig that hole.

So you are saying you don't like Hillary? Yeah, yeah, "lesser of two evils" - but how though?

And no I HATE the Bush dynasty.

I voted Trump because I believed he was a new fighter that could shake up the establishment and as you can see the media and politicians are going nuts.

    Just let the man govern.

Every single story in the media is a hit piece. I mean, come on. Did Trump threaten Jeff Bezos with having a monopoly with Amazon? Because his paper The Washington Post is constantly going after Trump, oh wait Amazon is in bed with the CIA, so -two peas in a pod- propaganda rag Washington Post to go after Trump to shift the public discourse and Bezos and Amazon have a $600-Million  deal with the deep state CIA. And now Podesta will have an op-ed in the Post to continue the establishment left narrative. I wish Trump would go after what Podesta said in his emails, so we can see if there really is something with massive pedophile coverups. You could even say that all of this turmoil is because of those revelations in the Podesta emails, if there really is a massive pedophile ring and everybody in Washington is freaking out.
