  1. Eh...I want one.... but not for $21.99 after seeing it for $9. I will wait for now.
  2. Saw the earlier loser edition at Park Ave CDs in Orlando last week. I did not buy as I pre ordered from Sub Pop. Happy hunting!
  3. Missed that Sum 41 for cheap... If anyone has an extra they need to get rid of, please PM!
  4. Thanks SO much for the info! I was able to get Llewyn Davis AND some RSD leftovers for $36 shipped. Laura Marling "Flicker and Fail" for $2!!!! It was sold out EVERYWHERE I looked that year. Whoo Hoo!!!!
  5. But the original Holland AIC "Unplugged" was 2LPs in one sleeve, and sounds incredible.
  6. I ordered from Acoustic Sounds, and they notified me that it has been shipped. The order lists the catalog number: AMOV 956PUR And Qty Shipped Description is: AMOV 956PUR I was originally pissed, because I ordered two $5 records and a $.50 CD with the above, and clicked "Ship In Full," so I am not paying an extra $6 to mail out $10.50 worth of records first, and then shipping again for the Temple LP. But that is exactly what those Boneheads did to me, even after CALLING them last week and complaining that they did not do what I selected on their website. Acoustic Sounds told me, on the phone, that shipping for the Temple would then be "free," cause it was their website error. But, then they charged me the shipping again anyway. I guess I should be happy that I am ahead, and may have been shipped the purple version...BUT, I will have to wait and see. I sure hope you get it!
  7. The "Transparent Red" pressing is back up on the Saint November website. Like a goober, I grabbed a red one too. I love this album too much
  8. Yeah, I ordered mine from Acoustic Sounds for $42.98 plus shipping ($5.95). I have the original, but I want to hear the 2lp version with the sound cranked up. Soundstage might be a better deal with their free shipping option. But, Acoustic Sounds will give you free shipping if you order $89 of in stock items. Awesome album. Glad to see it FINALLY get the re-issue treatment it deserves.
  9. http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/video/jimmy-fallons-do-not-play-list-part-1/n36441/ Get down... Mister BASS MAN!! I would really buy that vinyl for my collection, but given it was released in 2003, I think Jimmy is holding up a "mock up" cover.
  10. Although it is not Amoeba, I really like Park Ave CDs in Orlando. These days, they have more vinyl than CDs (new and used). I have been impressed with both the titles and prices I have seen in there. Happy hunting!
  11. I have the original UK press with the "old school" white with brown A&M center label. I purchased it new, back in the day. (There is also a Holland/European pressing, with the newer black label design.) The record was cut very quiet, as to fit approx 30 minutes on one side. The good news is that the vinyl was quiet enough that it did not not mar the audio with a ton of surface noise. Mine did come with a mark/scratch on "Reach Down" that was mostly inaudable. The only drawback was I really had to turn the volume up about twice as much as other records, to achieve the same cranked level of sound. Be leery of a copy that may be less in less than Mint- shape due to the plant squeezing the whole album on one LP. The cover is thin, but looks MUCH clearer than the bootleg.
  12. I have had similar problems as well. My solution was to make a road trip to a big city and purchase most of my vinyl from an independent record store. Paying the $4 to $8 for every record shipment really balances out to the same for me, in gas, if I only go every other month or so. If the jacket is beat to hell in the bin, I just don't buy it. I just had to learn to curb down the "impulse buys"
  13. Not sure if anyone around here was looking for this, but just in case: http://store.interscope.com/Product.aspx?pc=IXLPPP01 I really liked the two singles. Hope I got an autographed copy
  14. I shelled out about $200 for this a few years ago. The $99 is a SWEET deal! Autographed by Mark Everett...sort of. He just wrote "E" on it
  15. If you bought it from Amazon UK, it is worth it to go through the "return process" on the website. I ended up getting a "dished" copy of the Joe Meek RSD lp, and they mailed me a replacement copy without needing to ship back the first copy. Only catch is you have to save the spam bot e-mail that says this, and then actually e-mail that mailing back to them, if they hit your card again for the second copy. On second thought...yeah, it's a headache
  16. Got my shipping confirmation from Soundstage! Yay!!!!
  17. Yeah, it might have been best for you to have skipped the theater screening. My wife gets motion sickness really easily as well, and she had a hard time keeping her eyes on the movie without her equilibrium getting messed up. But, watching it on TV might be better. That might be subjective. It was a very amateur job, but the focus was done well. The person that made it was a huge "fan" and built makeshift platforms with logs and brought a few 16mm film cameras and as much film as he could afford. The movie was very earthy and real to me, and I really liked it's charm. But if you go into it wanting something very professional looking, you may be disappointed. You might like "The Grateful Dead Movie" better. I personally LOVED the Veneta performance. 30 minute "Dark Star" Please do! As with the CD version, you get the whole show. It got too dark to film after "Sing Me Back Home." I am just feeling the pain after buying the Dicks Picks Box sets. They are BEAUTIFUL, but expensive. I have to pace myself
  18. Yeah, I know I may be taking a "risk" of missing the vinyl set by waiting, but I REALLY want the Blu-Ray. I saw it in the Movie Theater and loved it, but I just can't afford to get the Blu-Ray/CD for $50+ and then spend $70 on top of that to get the same exact material. The cost would have been minimal for the label to add the DVD version to the vinyl set, but I am assuming they want the fans to "Double Dip." If the vinyl kicks around for a couple months and I see it in a store for a good price, they may get the extra out of me ....eventually
  19. My only gripe about this release is that if you want a copy of the film, you have to buy the DVD or Blu-Ray set with the CDs for $50+ and then $70+ again for the vinyl version. For a retail price of $79.99, they could throw in a DVD copy of the film, at LEAST. I will probably get the Blu-Ray/CD set, and just wait on the vinyl until the price goes down.
  20. Sorry to give any VC members hopes up. The site never had any "in stock." It said ships in 2 to 4 days. I just thought it was interesting that the website changed the listing from "unavailable" to that, and listed it in the new release e-mail. Maybe many of us will finally be able to get one once the traffic dies down?
  21. I keep a wantlist on there of stuff I want, when I get extra cash to buy records. I can get something else in the cart to get a $30 plus order in two clicks. The free shipping for a $30+ order simply can't be beat, given the excellent record mailers they use.
  22. I guess letting the cat out of the bag crashed the website. While I was actually able to check out with one copy, I will believe it when I see it
  23. Just got this in my e-mail box from Soundstage Direct two hours ago. http://www.soundstagedirect.com/scott-pilgrim-vs-the-world-soundtrack-vinyl-lp.shtml I have been looking for a copy on vinyl, for a reasonable price, for over a year. Here is hoping it actually shows up
  24. If this is a USA copy... hold the vinyl up to the light. If you can "see through it" it is the very first pressing on virgin vinyl. If it is dark, it is a repress. If you got a virgin vinyl pressing there, it might get you a couple extra bucks. Or better yet, LISTEN TO IT! One of my favorite albums growing up.
  25. Hi! Still need that Yo Gabba Gabba 2LP if anyone sees a copy. All out at my Urban Outfitters in Virgina
