Yeah, I am going to try and stick with ordering from actual "record stores" from now on, and pay the additional costs to support them. Problem is, when Bull Moose and others are completely sold out by the time I find out about the release, I have to roll the dice with Amazon. Hope I fare better with my Amazon order for the Kozelek "Christmas Carols" LP. I missed the window for Bull Moose and Caldo Verde for that one too.

Beware ordering this from Amazon directly. I did. They ended up shipping the 7-inch in a Jiffy bag with NO cardboard or anything to preserve the picture sleeve through shipping. My cover came all bent to hell. So I am still looking for a replacement copy

I just LOVE that track "Birthday" posted on Soundcloud. Really feeling that angsty, teenage heartbreak sound with plenty of Shoegaze guitars and mixed in a Steve Albini style with those amazing female vocals. Can't wait to hear it on the big speakers

I saw a "nearly new" copy of "Time, Love and Tenderness" in the $2 bin at Arbutis last month. You need?

PM'd If that is dust or dirt pressed into the grooves because yours was the first one off of a dirty stamper, there might not be much you can do. However, if the record got really wet and was shoved inside the jacket during manufacturing, and the record had a ton of mold/mildew grow in the grooves, a few spins on a vacuum powered record cleaning machine like a VPI or Nitty Gritty might clean it up.

I don't know. I was more impressed with what I found in Go Hastings clearance section recently. I put some items in my cart, but then I found some other things I wanted more at Sound Garden yesterday. So unless they hang around till next paycheck, I will pass. BTW: Great price on that Tortoise re-issue. I paid more than that for mine
