This is great! But agreed, needs some more labels. Also, this looks like UK only? Maybe a version for us from the US is in the works? -
yeah, I think things will get better soon. I have to get up at 3 AM for work, so I've been having to get to bed by like 8:00 at the latest. Everytime we've done it recently, I'll wake up at like 11:00 at night to my penis being touched.
-
yeah... I probably get laid like... once a month? If that? Also, is it just me or does spring make people hornier? Cause I'm definately feeling it now...

NON-TRUTH! Honestly, it just depends on the girl and how much she wants it.

Masked Intruder - First Offense 7" repress
rudeboydh replied to mrc's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I think 1-3 colors are acceptable. It's when you have 4+ variants of a record that I don't necessarily agree with. I stil think collectors should consider each pressing instead of each individual variant. Like instead of saying "oh there's 250 on blue, 250 on green, 250 on yellow, 250 on red" you should just consider it "first pressing: 1000". So that way they seem less rare. I think alot of this variant thing is created by us, not the labels. -
Yes, thank you Todd for putting this out, and I think all of us can't wait for the TBR box you've got comming next. I'll definately be on top of that one to get the variant I wanted. I loved seeing all the updates on this, and how you kept us all updated on your progress. My first experience with the Lillingtons was when I picked up Death by TV at a record store in Charleston SC for $7. I had no idea who the band was, and only recognized the label they were on was a punk label. Bought it on a whim. Took it home, not knowing what to expect and on first listen I was hooked. Finding that record was just one of those experiences in record collecting that makes you get hooked on collecting. Just finding something you have no idea what it is and growing to love it. That record has a very special place in my heart cause it was one of the first really great additions to my collection. And now I have their complete works and couldn't be more excited! Thanks so much Todd for everything you've done with this release!

What would you pay for this?
rudeboydh replied to rudeboydh's topic in Turntables & Other Audio Equipment
^ yeah, that's what I was thinking... I have a Gemini right now, and it's alright but having some speed issues... I'm thinking it's probably the belt which is why I'd prefer to go direct drive with my next turntable. -
So I was browsing around the internet for a new/used turntable for a decent price and stumbled up this: http://chattanooga.craigslist.org/ele/3661309217.html Seems like online reviews are alright for it. I want to make him an offer for just the turntable portion of it, but I have no idea what a good offer would be. I was thinking $100? Thoughts?

Listen to some Ska. Lots of horns! Also, organ > piano. I think guitars are boring. Do something different! Here's a band that does plenty without use of a guitar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AkXACCw24g- 169,220 replies

Has the vinyl revival gone too far?
rudeboydh replied to dreamover's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Ok, to answer the title to this thread I present you with something from the eBay thread: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lockin-Out-Donut-11-Mental-Free-Spirit-Rival-Mob-Stick-Together-Title-Fight-Loc-/140933705115 I think this successfully answers this question. When you can use vinyl/vinyl flipping termonology to sell a fucking baked good on eBay for 5 grand, you know the vinyl revival has gone too far. I realize it's probably a joke, but still... -
THE OFFICIAL EBAY CRAZINESS THREAD

IS THIS REAL!? Really though, it's moments like these where I feel like I'm living on Bizzaro Earth... This and the whole Denis Rodman being the ambassador to North Korea... -
The weather here can suck it too! This is the worst place I've ever lived in regards to extreme weather as well. Yesterday, we had an "extreme thunderstorm" that came though (more like a mini fucking huricane). Well needless to say it fucked shit up. For about a half an hour there were like 80 MPH winds, trees were falling literally all around us. Our neighbor had a tree fall through their roof and we're out of power now for the next 2 days. Worst thing about it was that we moved all our flashlights and emergency stuff up to Chattanooga this Saturday so we had to go out and get new stuff. Seriously, let's compare it to the other places I've lived: Charleston SC: threat of huricanes. In the 7-8 years I lived there we had 1 tropical storm which had 90 MPH winds. It wasn't too bad. Weirton WV (about an hour from Pittsburgh, northern WV. I grew up here.) We had snow. not a big deal. Alabama: Severe thunderstorms once every 3-4 months, often times producing tornados. Also, don't forget the big tornados that destroyed half the fucking state in April 2011. For a state that's so "God" fearing, "God" sure seems to hate it.

Has the vinyl revival gone too far?
rudeboydh replied to dreamover's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I'm primarily talking about new/newer records that have very little to no surface noise. And if you take care of your records and keep them in good shape, there shouldn't be a problem. I don't see what's so crazy about my statement. -
Got mine yesterday, although I won't be in Chattanooga til next week to confirm. When I emailed Todd and asked him to change shipping address he didn't mention the Sack LP, so I hope it still made it in there with the box.

Hopefully this is the only one of the variants that goes up.
