Thoughts from sellers about inflation situation?
faaip de oiad replied to t198's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
The cost of vinyl is actually the same as it ever was. It's basic math. The more we print, the less it's worth... -
Thoughts from sellers about inflation situation?

They're treating the vinyl boom as a niche trend that may end soon(which it prolly will), giving them the idea to strike now while the iron is hot. -

Starting to get antsy. I know it's an RSD first, but I really want that Steeler with Yngwie Malmsteen. It's only 1500 pressed on red. Hasn't had a pressing since it was released i think. 1982?...Starting to look like this one escapes me. Oh well. I really want this so I guess I'll have to wait fir that one to be released as a regular release -
Yes that 3LP BK is awesome. I compared the MOV to that, but there's no comparison. I I've listened to the World Coming Down, October Rust and Bloody Kisses from the reissues and was pretty impressed with all the ROGs. I've since sold the WCD, Origin and SDH. It's about time I dug into the box. Aside from any live shit out there, I think I've got everything I need. I don't think I'll be buying the last of the reissues. Now, if we could just get some live stuff...

Wondering if anyone who bought the None More Negative box set still purchasing the reissues? I bought the box but I've been purchasing some of the reissues as well. Ididn't open the box because i hadn't got to it yet. But then the reissues started pouring out. Dunno why, but I bought into it. Colors? I had a change of heart when i started seeing Pete's (*) that I'd already had all of these. So I stopped and sold them except for the orange October the silver MOV Bloody and the triple Bloody. I obviously got the Dead Again reissue. But I'm wondering if anybody else fell down that hole. I mean they're all the same, right? ...

I don't really care what he did or didn't do(allegations or otherwise). Never did. I really like what he did in the 90s. I still listen very often. His band kinda fell off my radar after those times. I moved on to a more broader range of genres after those times. I tend to think what I value more are the memories I had from those periods of time. I don't support abuse. I find it ridiculous that I, or anyone else should be blamed for supporting anyone that abused anyone else just for liking the music I/we listened to decades ago. The recording industry is a dirty business and they know it. There's blood all over the music we listen to. Whether intentionally or unintentionally. We are the victims -

They have the same distros. So they shouldn't be any different. Could be smaller labels tho. Sure they're not boots?
