The VIP bundle is only good for the ticket to the show and the exclusive vinyl. The q&a session and photo opportunity are funny. What happened to the days when bands hang around the merch table, and you can speak to them for free. And you get a set list of the show...are there going to be 25 handwritten copies like the olden days, or are these are going to be printed out...

Me too. It makes me wonder if the site is getting updated real-time, or if sales are really slow. If the latter, this band really tapered off and people don't care. also, I wonder why the purple variant is $3 more when it's not even the rarest.

Wow didn't know this was coming. Ordered the pink kush...I'm surprised the /150 is still available.

FYI - I ordered the clear + tshirt bundle, and asked if I could replace the pre-ordered tshirt with the black silhouette version, and the answer was no. Both shirts are marked for the same price. Not sure I understand the design of the shirt in the bundle, labeled as 'interiors extended', but I'll get a closer look when it arrives, and see if there's an association with the lyrics.

I think peach is sold out. The site still says "add to cart", but after pressing it, it says "Maximum allowed quantity per product is 0.", so they must all now be gone. Same as well, I don't need the tshirt to get the Clear, and plus, shipping costs goes up.

The sound quality is likely moot as mostly everyone who bought the splatter is probably going to spin it a few times anyhow, and listen to it using other methods like their iPhone, myself included. I buy vinyl for the collector factor, as I really don't have time to sit and listen to a record front to back.

Montreal is 8th on the upcoming tour, so if there is a tour variant I hope it'll still be there, but that's wishful thinking...

On the convergecult website it says the splatter/100 is sold out. Was this variant ever available to the public?

I want to order this, and the Forced Order LP together....but it's mentioned that Freedom pre-order can only be ordered alone. And since I'm in Canada, I have to order at least 2 items. So does that mean I buy 2 yellow variants, and flip one of them?

I had been refreshing the matador store web page, and JB's twitter and facebook pages, several times each day....this pre-order came out of nowhere. I got slammed on 6131's shipping...but it's going to be worth it.

Wow, this is going fast! 800 (300 from 6131 and 500 from Matador) in an hour. I don't always check my email while at work....lucky I did. Grabbed both splatters.

Regarding padded envelopes, I had someone send me a 1st press Have Heart of their album the things we carry, that I won off eBay and the vinyl came cracked. ;(

Good luck on the store. Opening a physical store these days must be hell and a huge risk. I would definitely go visit next time I'm in NYC. I appreciate that I can find rare items, instead of going to a store sifting through 99% of re-issues or new albums. I order mostly all new items online for the variants, and appreciate that a store actually carries limited vinyl as their focus. I don't mind paying prices as determined from Discogs. I get email notices all the time from Discogs for my wantlists, and buy them from time to time. My only question is, would that mean you would be trying to mass buy a bunch of limited vinyl, let's say for the new Converge? And then sell it back for higher...because that's the new demanded selling price? If so, that would be the only part that irks me.

I had a chance to get the pre-order...but was surfing through the extensive catalog seeing what else I wanted to order at the same time...and then the pre-order version sold out. I snoozed and lost. I ordered the /100 version instead.

Damn, I really can't buy this online. From Deathwish site, $7 for vinyl, $14 shipping (cheapest) to Canada. On King Road, shipping is $11. I'll need to see if my local record store can get a copy.

Anyone know of the pressing? They still have colour vinyl in the kingsroad EU store.
