Is there anyone in Canada who's got a spare copy of the latest Lacing? The one I ordered from Bandcamp has been lost and I won't ever receive it.

This might be my fave album of his, and it's a white whale. Damn, between this and the Go-Betweens box-set number 2 I'm gonna be broke af.

I haven't sat through that album. Seemed like a tough listen and I had some bad family-health scares that'a made me avoid it.

I'm going to see what local stores are doing, and what they're charging for these assuming they've ordered them. Otherwise, Amazon Canada is my ticket.

The 2011 Ba Da Bing has consistent surface noise but it's minimal and not noticeable for a couple of songs. The 2019 Abbey Road remaster pops and hisses like a mofo even after a proper cleaning. Also, Mark's voice is brought up front in the mix and made louder, which is awful because he sings the first word of every stanza at full volume before immediately going to a hushed voice, which is a startling nuisance. Otherwise, it's practically the same mix. I frankly don't know which version to flip. I might just request a refund and keep my Ba Da Bing. A somewhat shit remaster+ hisses and pops outweighs a minimal degree of surface noise IMO. I had a feeling something like this would happen.

Wow kinda bummed I insta-bought the regular edition. That die-hard Moe album cover is fire. In any case, got a shipping notification and tracking a few hours ago. Gotta love upstart indie labels who roll up their sleeves and ship records out with the quickness. So far, Elder Magick can do no wrong.

At this point mocking Ye feels like shooting fish in a barrel. And yes, there's some dope beats the likes of which I haven't heard in a minute on his albums. I would buy an instrumental "secular" version of this.

OMG what an ordeal. But managed to sign up, register, load my cc info & drop a Mindspring Memories into my cart before the site started crashing & got a Sunday Television. Standard shipping rate for 1LP was 20USD, but 28USD for 2, so I saved money buying both. Stoked af.

Also, according to Reddit, there's a banana/yellow-white vinyl of Bae 5 out there being sold on his tour. It's a gatefold lp with a pop-out of him in the middle.
