  1. If only you read what they posted: "Valued music lovers. Bandcamp will not allow anything less than a $1.00 for a pre-release download so the $1.00 you see is just a formality. So please, please, please, please DO NOT BUY the digital down load for anything more than $0.00 as the the band is giving this digital release away for same price, free."
  2. So it's unclear to me if this is two one-sided LPs at 33rpm or the first label to cut the album at 45rpm over two discs? And before anyone complains about the lack of colours, I'm almost 100% certain that you can only cut lathes on the "base" PVC types: black, clear and white (not sure I've seen a lathe-cut on white wax personally). EDIT: Since this is a lathe pressing, and shipping was 3 bucks, I had to buy one. Given the timing of when they went live with this, I wonder whether or not a disproportionate amount of collectors in Japan, Australia, Russia and Europe will nab this before a lot of NA folk do.
  3. https://fishbumrecords.bandcamp.com/album/polygondwanaland This limited edition double LP, 12" release is handmade in real time using a record cutting lathe, with high quality and consistency being the ultimate goal. The records are individually cut, and part of the magic of these lathe cut records is that no two records are exactly the same - each disc is one-of-a-kind. Unique catalog numbers are hand cut onto each side of every record. Every record goes through a vigorous quality inspection process before leaving the factory. This is how we release vinyl at Fishbum Records. This record will be a surprise for you, one side black, one side transparent. Track Listing: 1. Crumbling Castle 2. Polygondwanaland 3. The Castle In The Air 4. Deserted Dunes Welcome Weary Feet 5. Inner Cell 6. Loyalty 7. Horology 8. Tetrachromacy 9. Searching… 10. 4. 15 songs -1 (first two tracks on side 1) = 14 sides. 2 sides to an album = 7 LPs. Really, really basic math tbh. L is the 12th letter of the alphabet. LP1 = Sides A/B, LP2 = Sides C/D, LP3 = Sides E/F, LP4 = Sides G/H, LP5 = I/J, LP6 = K/L, LP7 = M/N
  5. Except this is a logical response. Here's the formulae: Victim of abuse > victim of abuse who perpetuates the cycle of abuse by becoming an abuser. That's basic facts. The latter is a sub-set of the former. Not all abuse victims become abusers. So yeah, I feel more pity for abuse victims who haven't victimized others. I also only belief in things when they are demonstrated to exist. I don't waste my time and work myself up over horseshit hypotheticals just to have an argument either.
  6. Proof that he was abused as a child himself or gtfo with your "I only have hypotheticals to argue with here" apologism. Thnx k bai.
  7. I would buy a reissue of The Menace. I would also buy a reissue of the BBC Sessions, even though they barely sounded that different live. Finally, there's just enough remixes, b-sides and rarities to make a compilation LP. To be honest I would have loved all of that and the self-titled in a box set. Maybe in 2020 once the 25th anniversary rolls around?
  8. Back up at Juno! Total price plus shipping added up to 22.98 for me which was Norman's base price so I cancelled my Norman order.
  9. Yeah, it's much more potent to suggest that you're willing to lose money over a principle. Then again, so is smashing expensive coffee machines. If you're anywhere near environmentalist, you ought to feel dismayed at the waste of it all in both cases. Sell each album and donate the proceeds to child abuse charities is way more productive.
  10. That's too bad. Not knowing anything about the store owner/employees, part of me suspected they dropped those albums in the bin gently, took the photo, seconds later brought them back inside and at the very least blowout-priced them to go. You get to have your mini-viral moment and not lose money on the inventory,
  11. I only go to SB if Rotate or June doesn't have something. TBH Sonic Boom does carry a lot of more stuff than either store but it's way pricier (not that June is cheap, but they stock the weird stuff more often) with few exceptions (although sometimes SB is legit cheaper than Rotate).
  12. Well, I see most of us are at the bargaining stage already.
  13. Cool! Region-specific indie exclusives. Certainly explains the various versions.
  14. Most colour versions have the 7", probably all of them do. Red was the indie-store exclusive.
  15. Damn, the only viable option now that Juno ran out at under £21 is Norman Records at £22.99
  16. Sounds like proper late 90's throwback. Loud and dirty. Thanks. I might just snag a copy up. EDIT: Bought a copy. Hope they blow up someday.
  17. Ragnarok was just as fun as the first GOTG, just as Kirby-colourful and went for as many jokes as the second one, but they actually worked here because the plot was more streamlined and actually raised stakes. Black Panther, here we come!
  18. Didn't know that he hooked up with those famous teen groupies. I figured the madness got to him first. I'm actually dismayed Mattix's story isn't part of his Wiki.
  19. I haven't thrown out my Ducktails/Matthew Mondanile albums out. I likely never will. Are they going to be at the top of my relisten pile anytime soon? Probably not, either. Imagine if Bowie had his Hitler moment today. Most of us who forgave him that in the intervening decades (He'd been on a year-long diet of coke, cigarettes and milk, lighting black candles to ward away Jimmy Page, as Los Angeles consumed him into deranged paranoia) would not forgive him today. EDIT: Yes, sexual assault and shit with minors is not comparable to some pro-Nazi salute and outfit. I get that.
  20. I read this in the spirit of a text file from a Fallout videogame FYI
  21. Saw it on slyvinyl (@EHughes527) and bought one pronto! The shipping to Canada was way reasonable, too.
