Cleaned up everything and took my CDs out of storage and into that Expedit on the right.
 
Just need a mad persian rug for the right side

Upgraded my speakers today and totally happy with it!
 

I don't think I've posted here before but my modest setup is below. I built the record cabinet about 3 years ago when I had ~400 records but I'm already running out of room. Also, I live in a tiny apartment so I don't have any other options for speaker placement - I know they're too tucked into the wall.
 

Dude. Yes. Soma is a RIPPER. That and s/t are still my favorite Windhand albums. The others are still good, but those two are so killer.

Got myself going down a little stoner/doom hole now...I don't really keep up with social media anymore, so I had missed out on these.

ATIH was always hit or miss for me. The best thing I ever got from them was All Them Witches on orange.
On another note, Monolord are now on Relapse? They're releasing something tomorrow. I haven't been that impressed with them with every album after Empress Rising, so we will see if this is a must purchase. Happy for them that they made it off Riding Easy.

I'm sure he'll bring back the vault again at some point if it has gone down, don't worry, he'll gouge again.
 
Even if he doesn't, it put such a sour taste in my mouth I got off the mailing list now and I'll just get stuff elsewhere. Pretty lame to see retailers/distros do stuff like that.

honestly that website sucks so bad now.  once it was sold just went right into the ground.  have not bought a single thing after that 66.6% sale...

New CONAN, yeah much the same as the last 4 lps. I've been with them from the start, bought each one as it came out, but I think I may be Conaned out.  This one was kind of a bit more forgettable. Plus the new drummer is just playing too much for my liking.  I dunno, all starting to feel a bit perfunctory at this stage, getting their mega-expensive "product" out there every year. No more wholesale like the Burning World days. Recall about 5 years ago being thrilled to shit with the first couple of records but sorry since then they've churned out about 6 more LP's which aint been nearly as good. Maybe I'm jaded. Spoilt. Plus being signed up to the fuckwits at Big Business Napalm Records its all starting to feel a bit uh big business. Was wayyy more fun dealing with the guys at Burning World

I moved everything into the basement and finally got around to putting everything up. I just have to find a new lounge chair to replace the desk and I'm done for a while.

finally after almost 10 years (see page #1 for when i first got my 4x4 expedit in 2008 haha) i outgrew it and wanted to add more cubes
changed it up and went with three 2x4 kallax shelves when i saw they were on sale this past week, really pleased with how it turned out


 
 

Last August we sold our house.  Built a new house, finished it in October.  Then decided to finish the basement myself.  Been without records and audio for 10 months.  About 3 weeks ago I finished the basement enough to start moving stuff in.  It's a work in progress with still more stuff yet to come from the framers.  











 

Finally got Black Tomb from Totem Cat. Not so sure about that label. Had to remind the guy twice to ship my record.
Also, finally streamed the new Monolord. At first, I was digging the new sound, but by the end I wasn't so sure that I need to buy the record. Any other stoner doom coming out that people are actually excited about? I'm getting a little bored.

My tattoo artist is from NZ as well, and we just had a discussion last time I was in about how cunt is always used for whatever over that way and not really used too much here in the US

As for EW, I "celebrate their entire catalogue" as the saying around here goes, but yeah, Fanatics and Dopethrone are probably my 1 and 2. I like Witchult Today a good bit as well. Makes sense though if I'm remembering correctly. I think those three albums kind of comprise a little trilogy kind of like how The Cure's Pornography, Disintegration, and Bloodflowers do.

I will have to check that place out the next time I'm in London.  Looks killer.  
 
 
....as for crucial E Wiz albums.  I think the most acclaimed are Dopethrone and Come My Fanatics.  If you ask around though you'd get differing answers from a lot of people.  Personally I love the S/T and Come My Fanatics.  We Live would be my number 3 choice.

my records sort of outgrew the living room so had to be shifted to another room. Sonab OA14's in each corner and Technics either side. Wife HATES this setup and keeps nagging me to get the amp/TT etc on a vertical RACK in that far corner. FUCK NO.

I don't think any of us here buy stuff wholesale unfortunately. I'm not sure we'll be of any help to you on that front.

There are labels out there that have a huge distro section that are very fair prices. You may be able to message them and see if you bought a shit ton would they cut you a bit of a deal. Halo of flies, eroding winds, a389, all that is heavy come to mind. Most of them already have super fair prices. 

I get excited, then wander in to a post on another forum where a guy has every variant of Sleep's holy mountains and Dopesmoker, which leads me to believe he must have hundreds of records of similar sound. I just close my eyes and say, " I'm still new to this taste, some people have years on me." I was seriously going through that "everything sounds like shit" phase until I found this thread thanks to you. Now I know where I belong musically. Not to say I no longer have love for the Modest mouses, and the Unicorns of the world, but my heart is full of doom!
