They've confirmed that Sister Fawn will have a vinyl pressing, but not who'll be pressing it (probably A389) or when it'll be out. And they have at least one variant of the newest press of "Roots" with them on tour: https://www.facebook.com/fullofhell/photos/a.599807963376445.1073741825.121866854503894/957904417566796/?type=1

Po Soon: Puig Destroyer S/T Full Length via No Sleep

That's what I figured, just thought I'd check in here. I don't keep up with No Sleep so I don't know their habits. Thanks! -

Is it safe to assume this will have a non- (or less-) limited pressing? Love this album but I'm worried that the cost will be bumped up along with other RSD releases. -

Did you get these to work on their site? At the bottom it says "COUPON NOT VALID ONLINE" -

I think I made one Insound order outside of their moving sale, but I might have had a coupon for that as well. -

Hell yeah! Grabbed "Dive" and "Past is Prologue" for not much more than what just PiP normally goes for. Been meaning to get those for a while, thanks for the tip. -

PO NOW: Death Grips - The Powers That B
plasma36 replied to JacobMckinley's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
About damn time. Samples seem very promising too. I swear I saw something about how there was a disagreement between Harvest and DG and that the release of TPTB would be three discs, the two album halves and a DVD with live footage, but I can't find it now. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? -

I wouldn't expect orders to ship for a few days. I've never taken those "ships within 24 hours" to heart. -
Great album, no idea it had a physical release at all.

Heads up: all of the Foo Fighters records that are in print are up for cheap before the sale, making the ones that are normally upwards of $30 (TINLTL, OBO, IYH) just under $16 each. Making some rounds, this is gonna be dangerous. -

Got my UO records yesterday, packaged extremely well: records sandwiched with bubble wrap in an LP mailer, and that mailer and the packing slip inside a slightly larger box. Both records are also in perfect shape, not even as little as a tear in the shrink wrap. -

I remember seeing CD singles having that deal, back when CD singles were things people bought. Cool they're doing that with 7"s now, I'd never seen that before. And Cannonfunk, I buy cheap records to flip all the time but I don't post on VC when it backfires. If there's one thing to know about VC it's that the people here are not kind to flippers, so if you're gonna do that (and I'm not saying you shouldn't) just keep it off the boards. -
The only time I ordered a Relapse grab bag it was all garbage distro records. I remember other people posting about getting actual Relapse releases (including clear vinyl) which is why I ordered, but I guess they forgot about all those distro records that weren't selling and filled my box up. This product description is clear that it's not limited to Relapse releases (and they're not even promising you'll get one of their releases) so those who are on the fence should become familiar with their distro catalog, not just their own catalog.

PO Soon: Del Paxton/Gulfer split (Topshelf)
plasma36 replied to plasma36's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
They'll use Pirate's or Gotta Groove depending on whatever variables. For instance the latest Prawn, Braid, and Jazz June albums were all pressed at Pirate's but the Prawn 7" and My Fictions album were both pressed at GG. If you guys are confident that it won't be GZ haze shit I'll grab that one. Worst case scenario is I sell that copy and get a different one.- 32 replies

Yeah but what they call "smoke" could be what GZ calls "haze." Link to one of the DP songs: http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=3718789&utm_content=bufferd0093&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer- 32 replies

Updated OP with pressing info. Torn between the /100 and the /150 because if the "purple smoke" is the GZ haze it'll sound like shit. I'll ask Topshelf who's pressing this and post in here when I get a reply.- 32 replies

Do not hot glue your spindle hole and then drill it out. Don't ever put a drill anywhere near your records if you respect them at all. Honestly I'd just eye it out and center it. If anything at all, I'd put a layer or two of duct tape around your turntable's spindle itself.

Torche has lyrics? News to me. For real though none of the Torche records I own have lyrics sheets at all, probably because those are the least important part of their music. I remember reading something saying that Steve demos vocal melodies and then he and the rest of the band listen to his demos and choose words based on what it sounds like he's saying.
