  1. Ugh I ordered from Domino when I saw that link on Facebook, not thinking to check Bandcamp shipping rates. Trying to decide if I'm petty enough to cancel the Domino order and re-order via BC to save $3 on shipping
  2. Judging from the new songs they played on the pbtt tour, this album is gonna be really good. Multiple parts with pretty melodic guitar lines on top of blast beats aka one of the greatest musical developments of all time.
  3. I don't recall anything bad about that HHLL album, except for pops throughout the ten minutes of noise on the last track (which I often jump over). I just recently ordered "Sea When Absent" so I'm hoping for the best. Turbo Fruits - "Echo Kid": major skips across both sides, bought brand new. Haven't tried listening to it in years but I remember at least three songs were totally unlistenable. Explosions in the Sky - "All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone": very noisy across all sides. Surprised no one else mentioned this, I know my copy isn't the only one that's messed up. Glocca Morra - "Ghoul Intentions": Hard to pinpoint but it sounds like it just wasn't properly mastered for vinyl.
  4. I'd rather just pick a copy up when they come through town so I don't have to pay for shipping but I don't know if I can trust whichever plant they're using to actually have records done in time
  5. Gifts From Enola - "A Healthy Fear" - $6.25 http://www.gohastings.com/product/POPMUSIC/Healthy-Fear/sku/289841644.uts
  6. There's some decent deals on vinyl but the $9 shipping and tax collected regardless of state is tough to shake. Even with a bunch of records that I'm not really itching to buy in my cart, they come out to around $12 shipped, at which point I could pay a couple bucks more and get them at a local shop or direct from the label. That said, some people might be interested to hear that they have Innerspeaker for $11.69: http://www.insound.com/tame-impala-innerspeaker-vinyl-2xlp.html
  7. 15% off everything at No Idea through Sunday with code "CrazyFromTheHeat" http://store.noidearecords.com/
  8. First Raein dropped an EP and now Suis La Lune. Great year for two of my favorite current screamo bands.
  9. 31% off at Hygiene Records through Sunday with code "thirtyone" http://hygienerecords.storenvy.com/
  10. And here I am remembering the not so distant past when people complained about three month preorders.
  11. PPD within the US. Order a few records and I'll knock a couple bucks off. $12 Kylesa - s/t LP $18 Neurosis - "Honor Found in Decay" [seam splits top edge of gatefold] $11 Punch - "They Don't Have to Believe" - yellow /3000 [sealed] $10 Special Explosion - "The Art of Mothering" - clear w/ black smoke /250 $24 V/A - "Strength in Weakness" (Modern Baseball, Spraynard, Marietta, The Weaks, Beach Slang, Hurry) - purple /250 [unplayed]
  12. I found a youtube video of two runs through the song and i definitely could listen to that for at least an hour. I do appreciate how mad this art piece is continuing to make people.
  13. Pretty surprised "No Coast" didn't end higher considering that hit $50 really early
  14. That sounds good, their last album is still pretty available in the states.
  15. 20% off (one item) and free shipping at Barnes and Noble with code BNMOM20. Expires tonight.
  16. Hoping there'll be some US distribution and/or that the Euro stays as close to the US dollar as it has been.
  17. He, or someone else, should repress any number of the records SH released that go for way too much money now (eg. "Gutter Phenomenon", "Always Open Mouth", and all of those Norma Jean albums)
  18. http://socialcancer.storenvy.com/products/11677159-sc007-ex-breathers-ovlov-woozy-gnarwhal-split Tape version of this available here
  19. Thank god for Rev. Got this and a Born Wrong 7" for just under $20 shipped.
  20. Like I said, there are sadly no search filters whatsoever. It's a shame, because they would do better business and not have to have sales all the time if they put the tiniest bit of effort into improving their site.
  21. Wires Under Tension - "Light Science" $4 http://www.theomegaorder.com/WIRES-UNDER-TENSION-Light-Science-vinyl?sc=8&category=476077
  22. All of the "You Can't Hide Your Love Forever" singles and AU are along the dreamy/poppy electronic side, Synthetic ID is fast post-punk, This Runs on Blood is a solid mix of screamo/hardcore. The half dozen records at the bottom of this page http://www.theomegaorder.com/s.nl/sc.8/category.67162/ctype.SS/SS.67162/.fare droney. Bipolar Bear is some sort of post-punk (on same page). Tombs - "Path of Totality" $17.24 (black metal) http://www.theomegaorder.com/TOMBS-Path-Of-Totality-vinyl?sc=8&category=476077 Bloodyminded - "Phases: Three" $9.62 (powerelectronics/noise) http://www.theomegaorder.com/BLOODYMINDED-Phases-Three-3x7-Box?sc=8&category=476077 PVT - "Homosapien" $4.25 (cut-up pop, might make a second order for this) http://www.theomegaorder.com/PVT-Homosapien-vinyl Shitstorm - "Paranoid Existence" CS $2.25 (grindcore) http://www.theomegaorder.com/SHITSTORM-Paranoid-Existence-cassette Singer - "Mindreading" $4.62 (electronica/pop) http://www.theomegaorder.com/SINGER-Mindreading-vinyl William Fowler Collins - "Resurrections Unseen" $5.62 (heavy harsh noise) http://www.theomegaorder.com/COLLINS-WILLIAM-FOWLER-Resurrections-Unseen-vinyl?sc=8&category=476077 At Our Heels - "Misanthropy and Godlessness" $3.75 (hardcore) http://www.theomegaorder.com/AT-OUR-HEELS-Misanthropy-and-Godlessness-vinyl To Rococo Rot - "Speculation" $5 (electronica, already own this album) http://www.theomegaorder.com/TO-ROCOCO-ROT-Speculation_2?sc=8&category=476077 400 Blows - "Sickness and Health" $4.87 (noise-rock/hardcore, also own this album) http://www.theomegaorder.com/400-BLOWS-Sickness-and-Health_2?sc=8&category=476077 Terror Danjah - "Power Grid" $4.75 (techno on Planet Mu) http://www.theomegaorder.com/TERROR-DANJAH-Power-Grid_2?sc=8&category=476077 Bad Secrets - s/t 9" $4.37 (swampy weirdo rock feat. members of Young Widows and Kodan Armada) http://www.theomegaorder.com/BAD-SECRETS-Bad-Secrets-9-CD?sc=8&category=476077 Windmills By the Ocean - "II" $4.25 (post-metal, ex-Isis) http://www.theomegaorder.com/WINDMILLS-BY-THE-OCEAN-II-vinyl?sc=8&category=476077 Also seconding Zammuto. I could go on but I'll just leave it there unless I remember something I didn't buy because I already own it. I'd suggest either skipping ahead about 15 pages on that original link or go to the $1-$5 music link if you're looking for the cheap jams (http://www.theomegaorder.com/s.nl/sc.8/category.67161/ctype.SS/SS.67161/.f).
  23. Permanent markdown on some 2000+ items at the Omega Order: http://www.theomegaorder.com/SPRING-CLEANING I recommend going for it if you have the time for some digital crate digging (OO has notoriously poor search filters, read: none). There's some really good stuff in there, especially along the quieter electronic side of things.
