no, they aren't waiting on test pressings. this was already test pressed, pressed, then it was found to be defective. that takes us up to the original time frame. so they ordered new tests and here we are.

this place is made up of a lot of folks who listen to 2 to 3 minute pop punk songs all the time. hell, someone said they just heard their first AF song the other day. even as a fan, i think long albums take a little time.

regarding Reflektor, it's a long album, it will take awhile to sink in, if it's gonna sink in. it took a long time for Suburbs to sink in with me. one day it did and boom goes the dynamite. of course funeral had that same bang moment. neon bible, i can tell it's great, but i'm still looking for that "bgtd" moment. halfway though side B, i'm loving Reflector.

i think my kid got a DJ Lego figure out of those blind pack dealies. It came with a record, it was pretty rad. If he still has it, it's in the lego box with the other thousands of legos he has.

suburbs funeral bible i'll listen to reflector after i finish boondock saints mind you i wasn't new fan when suburbs came out. i got to see them on the funeral tour. also note, all three albums are fantastic.
