Stopped buying Flightless variants after Gumboot Soup. Not that they don’t offer nice variants, but it’s just not worth the extra costs to me. Happily picked up retail editions of Fishing and Infest, and will do the same with this one. The only thing that’s a bit of a bummer is that Europe usually gets the least interesting retail variants as far as King G is concerned..

Slugdge - Born of Slime vinyl release available via Bandcamp and Willowtip. Two variants, of which one on random-colored vinyl, so obviously snagged the red & yellow merge.

Hardly. Glad I didn’t preorder it. The singles didn’t do anything for me, and the rest of the album doesn’t fare any better. Not entirely sure where all the positive reviews come from either.

Amazon sent me a Mogwai box set once without any packaging at all. Just threw a shipping label on there (thing was sealed, fortunately), and called it a day. Somehow it arrived almost intact. Kind of ironic since often it’s the other way around with them, and they use insanely large boxes filled to the brim with padding just to ship a single record.

They sure did. When I bought my copy about six hours ago the splatter was already gone and the other variant was down to ten.

Ordered the Indies exclusive. Not as fancy a variant, but the EU CF price is insane, especially after shipping.

Same here. Really dig the first three albums, and saw them play live quite a few times way back when. Haven’t really dug anything after that though
