  1. Ah ok, its not Labrador releasing this. I imagine that Labrador won't be doing much with the back catalog since the fallout and the band leaving, the rights of the 1st album are now with the band as with the 2 eps on this new LP.
  2. Is that Just So? Its the bands own label, I'd assume that the rights to CTAS are still with their old label Labrador so they can't do anything yet
  3. 4. This just has to be a joke, doesn't it? God I hope so at least!
  5. Probably Pet Grief as its closer in sound to CTAS than their debut Lesser Matters, but if you like CTAS you should enjoy all their albums & EPs. They are pretty much my favorite band so i cant recommend all their records highly enough

  7. Anyone that is willing to pay those prices on discogs is insane! Saw quite a few listening parties take place in the UK yesterday all with plenty of the flexi-discs for anyone who'd pre-ordered the LP
  8. Battles return with their fourth album Juice B Crypts on Warp Records to follow their complex, mind-bending predecessors Mirrored, Gloss Drop, Dross Glop and La Di Da Di.Their latest album is a sensory overload of information that throws everything you thought you knew about Battles into flux once again. 10. Frakkur was the artist name Jónsi used for his experiments in electronic music. Working on his own, either at home in Reykjavík, in hotel rooms on tour with Sigur Rós, or later at his boyfriend’s house in Boston, Jónsi spent endless hours diving into then-new bits of kit and programming, having fun and seeing how far he could push things. The legacy is three collections of work totalling 25 tracks collated into one triple album - each made a year or so apart, under slightly different circumstances and with different equipment. The oldest, 2000-2001, was made on Jónsi’s first PC laptop, named The Tank for its unwieldy size. The second, 2002-2003, was made in his small flat in the middle of Reykjavík, where he set up his first home studio in a cupboard, so that it could be packed away at night. The final part of the Frakkur trilogy, 2003-2004, was made in Cambridge, Mass. in breaks of Sigur Rós touring. His partner, Alex Somers, had by then introduced Jónsi to the programme Logic, and this he coupled with a Yamaha VSS-30 toy keyboard to sample his voice in what he describes as a spontaneous and exciting process. 3xLP on coloured vinyl https://www.roughtrade.com/gb/frakkur/frakkur-2000-2004 EDIT: Looks like this actually came out in April in some places but might have been hard to get hold of, being released wider in the UK in Sept so I'll leave it up for anyone whose interested!
  11. They've been doing mixes for a while (I've got the Mad Max Fury Road from 2015) but there is never anything wild, all rather subtle
  12. 13. It's such a huge longshot that it's not even worth the time it takes to compose the email.
  14. According to that Variety article Love Symbol doesn't transfer to Sony until 2021 & the Black Album isn't part of the Sony agreement along with "several albums from the latter half of Prince’s career" which are not named. There could also be problems with The Gold Experience due to the very long running copyright issues over the Most Beautiful Girl In The World.
  15. Yep you are correct, so nothing on them unless Warners reissues them, or they move to Sony at some later date. Can't imagine Warners wouldn't do something for Batman, had thought that this year would be perfect with it being the 80th anniversary of the character and the 30th anniversary of the film/soundtrack.
  16. With all the reissues coming I've turned this in to a general Prince reissue thread ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Emancipation - 6xLP Purple https://store.prince.com/product/5QLPPR042/emancipation-6lp-purple-150g?cp=103229_103233_103248 The Versace Experience - 1LP Purple https://store.prince.com/product/5QPR22COMBO/the-versace-experience-prelude-2-gold1lp-purple-150g-download?cp=null Chaos & Disorder - 1LP Purple https://store.prince.com/product/5QLPPR043/chaos-and-disorder-1lp-purple-150g?cp=103229_103233_103248 1999 - (2xLP Purple / 4xLP / 10xLP+DVD) 29th November
