I just prefer not to be able to tear my t-shirts like napkins. Gildan heavy cotton 4 life. Maybe it's a body type thing or something causing this preference though, yall fat or skinny? 😅

5’6” and dealing with about 150-165 depending on how much a get of out the house and drink.

Small dude with a funky body type that doesn’t like things clinging to me. Need room to breathe with a solid, tight neck. Comfort Colors have done me perfectly for the last 5 or so years.

But yeah, I feel ya with wanting to buy stuff that you won’t wear. I’ve avoided it since I’ve been “that guy” and asking about blanks. Or sizing up, and hoping it’ll fit. I still have an Exile In Guyvile shirt that’s a Large Bella Canvas shirt that I can’t wear because the neck is dumb, even after washing and drying multiple times. I hate drying my shirts.

Oh, I much prefer the soft bed sheet feel. I've never had a problem with the way the fit is though. On 100% cotton V-necks some of those shirts (Bella, American Apparel, Next Level) can get a bit wonky on the collar but other than that those are my perfect fits. The tri-blend collars are actually much sturdier and straighter.

Gildan feels like someone is shoving me into a rigid cardboard t-shirt shaped box that put a spell on me to convince me it was actually cotton shirt material. Makes me want to punch things.

For the most part, I grew up when shirts felt like shirts and fit. That’s all I want. Trying to “reinvent” that has just caused problems. Hot Topic 1994 Por Vida!

That's interesting. I'm usually pissed when shirts are NOT on Bella Canvas. Their easily one of the softest and nicest feeling shirts you can print on. What's your gripe with them? I usually pass on awesome shirts when I find out they're printed on Gildan.

That’s exactly it. I want to wear a shirt, not an ill fitting bed sheet.

Doesn’t fit, not true to size, loose neck and soft isn’t a commendable quality in shirts. Comfort Colors, LA, Gildan Hammer or nothing. Tired of spending money on shirts I can’t wear.

Maybe make it the only way to get a copy of the S/T included, too.  Outside of Challenge though, which of these reissues feature unoriginal art?  Or was that the only one?

The kicker is that even if you could get something decent for selling your colored variants, and put it towards a lavish boxset… you wouldn’t. 😏 The disease™ is an offshoot of the hobby™ but way more concerning.  When you’ve got it, you’ve really got it.

Jokes aside I do love these reissues, and the attention that has gone into ‘em is top notch. They’re prized variants worth owning even if they never command big bucks and that’s fine by me.  Really cool set.

Think we’ve discussed this before, but personally, I only have the box sets, and got rid of all the original LPs I had. I was going to, but didn’t pull the trigger on the stand alone reissues. I still may, but this concept would diminish that desire.

It is kind of strange to include s/t to the original box set, but not give it an individual repress. I’ve been waiting to see if they we’re going f to do that album. I didn’t even notice the Challenge cover until now, I’m a such an idiot.

The disease started with baseball cards when I was 5, only got worse when it switched to physical music at 10. The last 27 years have been fucked! Haha

I need to try and sell my stand alone tickets and go to the big Numero banger on Feb 18th & 19th.

would you guys think they'd be willing to combine orders? I'm afraid they are not. It was not best idea for even them to put them up separetely packaging-wise and the fact that 90% of the buyers will be the same ....

Edit: already got the answer of a no. I wonder why is it so hard to do this...

As someone who has worked shipping for a record label, nah dude. I’m sorry for the exorbitant shipping fees, but it just causes more issues.

Not to mention, you’re not dealing with a single person, you’re dealing with a fulfillment company. They don’t want that shit.

    (Obligatory New Pupper Ideas comment.)

Now re-release it all with even better variants in a mega collector’s edition boxset.  Include all the bonus content and booklets from the individual era boxsets.  A box to end boxes.

Dude! All original art work and inserts, I’m in!

Full on Ted Bundy comment, right there. I need help.

Now that I look at the mock ups again it does look like silver is the base when you zoom in.

With the absurd amount of splatter in the mock, I just automatically think milky coke bottle, or whatever they’re calling it these day.  It I totally get what you’re throwing down, now.

Either way, I’m just stoked. Can’t wait for another HUGE package from Numero.

We can look to the Welcome to the Family box as a model. That didn't sell under the original retail.

You also knew what you were getting, and it didn’t have this long window of insane hype that certain types love to see when figuring out what that can buy and resell for profit. The fact that this may turn out to be a shit show, not to mention there are stand alone variants, makes me think some people are going to be taking a lose on this one.
