  1. Thanks brother! Just found out today that there is a hurricane at sea and it MAY hit Hawaii. Hoping not! Really looking forward to our trip. We got an amazing deal on airfare due to having a friend who works at an airline. I'm talking DIRTY cheap. Too good to pass up. Still no real plans, other than the comedy show noted above. Planning on exploring as much as we can. Since we're staying in Hana for 2 nights, it'll be some awesome downtime after spending 3 night in Lahaina.
  2. The only think we absolutely have so do, since we have tickets, is go see Patton Oswalt on the Thursday night. Should be a laugh filled night!
  3. We plan on spending our first day in Paia I think. And we'll be spending a lot of time on the left stretch!
  4. That's the plan, and I might just do that run. Early enough so my soul doesn't go up in flames once the sun comes out.
  5. Yeah, I eat a burger every 2-3 months and I eat seafood. My wife doesn't indulge in meat at all and pork is the one thing I've given up 100%
  6. We're staying in Lahaina, Kula and Hana. We're also staying near the airport for a night since our flight gets in so late. We were thinking about a luau but what you said seals the deal. It would work out to over $250 Canadian for the 2 of us. She's vegetarian and I only eat fish, and my wife doesn't even drink. We'll take that money and do a bunch of other stuff.
  7. Thanks for the tip. noted!! We're actually hoping to trek up the volcano for the sunrise. Well d'uh! We're going to head to the turtle beach for a day. Can't wait! We're staying at a few different places. Lahaina for 3 night, Kula for 2 nights and Hana for 2. We're also staying near the airport the first night since the flight arrives so late. I'll check out the Gazebo fo sho! Awwwwwwwwwwwww yeah Thanks Hunter! Hope all is well, brother! Even though I've seen this before, it still made me spit tea onto my desk, so thanks for that.
  8. Yo guys. Haven't been on the boards/buying vinyl for a bit. My wife and I are heading to Maui from Aug 2-10. Looking for any must do's while we're there. We eat mainly vegetarian (iI eat fish, so I'm stoked), so any recommendations on places to eat would be awesome as well. Thanks!
  9. Picked up the the 2 moneen albums. First vinyl I've bought since that Strung Out album months ago. Stoked!
  10. So, I'm thinking of grabbing one of these, but don't have a need for the AOF stuff. If anyone is interested in grabbing them from me IF I pull the trigger on the bundle, PM me.
  11. I saw Strung Out last week and was honestly disappointed. They seemed super sloppy playing the new songs and Jason couldn't seem to sing them, either. I can say that I was so disappointed that after seeing them time after time, last week was probably the last. That being said, I hope if was just an off night.
  12. Added a bunch more of you nerds. Here's a link to mine: https://instagram.com/hudsoncomplex/ Mostly pictures of our 3 dogs and other random junk.
  13. I think there's talk of some Tricky Woo stuff being pressed in the future. Keep an eye on Yeah Right! records out of London, ON.
  14. Tracked down a copy of the Flexi because of this thread! Woo hoo And yes, I do need The One 7", thanks for the reminder. I need that Westlife/Foos split, too. Forgot about that one as well!
  15. Great list, brother. We have very similar tastes.
  16. Rope for a good price: http://www.musicstack.com/show.cgi?f=1&find=foo+fighters&media=248&t=rope
  17. One more: There's a bootleg 7" from Reading '95 called "Phighting Phooey at the Reading Phestival". I think I grabbed a copy of it on Music Stack.
  18. Hey dude! I spent a few years collecting Foos singles, and it's no easy task! I'm only missing the Flexi now...just waiting until it comes down in price. Here is some food for thought: some of these 7's have 2 versions. Walking After You / My Hero: Both have a jukebox single (plain white sleeve, large spindle hole) and a regular release (stamped Made in England). The English version is on red wax. The non-jukebox version of Walking After You is an X Files version and features Ween on the b side. There is 2 versions of the Best Of You single. The US version has FFL as the b side and the UK one has Spill. There is 2 versions of the All My Life 7" as well. The US version has Danny Says as the b side and the UK copy has Sister Europe. The UK Versions of Times Like These and Low are numbered on the front. The Exhausted promo is actually a 12". Not sure if you need it, by Medium Rare isn't listed on your list. If you want any pictures of anything, just let me know.
