Aren't most Mondo releases just remastered versions of CD tracks? A lot of their releases have had the same tracklistings (right down to the bonus tracks) of CD score releases.

The UK release is by XL and the US is by Astralwerks, so the VMP variant will most likely have the standard sleeve.

Saw a photo of the Newbury exclusive and it looks pretty ugly - just a basic standard sleeve. The UK version is in a Paul's Boutique-style quad gatefold and comes with a poster. Thinking of ordering it, but between that and the VMP edition (which will probably look just as blah as the Newbury one) that I ordered, I REALLY don't need three copies of the same album.

Yeah, didn't realize that it'd only cost a couple dollars more than my Amazon preorder for the American release.

Wound up cancelling my preorder for the domestic and ordered the EU release instead - love, love that artwork. So much nicer than the American cover.

Listened to the new re-recordings on Spotify and I'm curious... what exactly is the whole point? The band sounds good, but the tracks all literally three minutes long. Like, what's the whole point if they weren't going to do anything interesting with the pieces, like jam on them or extend them? They could have released all four on one 7" for $10 instead of on two 12"s for $30 total. Love John Carpenter - he's one of my favorite directors ever and his two albums are great, but I'm glad I didn't order these...
