Anyone going for the Synchronicity OST today? I listened to it on the way in to work this morning and thought it was just... okay? Maybe it's something that would grow on me. I liked the idea of it more than I actually liked the music. Torn between whether to grab it or not this afternoon.

Looks cool I guess, but lol at just how little music is on the b-sides.

Found a store that let me order a copy. Kind of curious just how many copies made it out.

Copies with the edited version of the song aren't out yet, but the digital release of the album has it. Any physical copy should have the original version.

Yeah, I know that the album had to be recalled but it looks like some stores got them. I had a preorder with Matador and they literally sent me a jacket and one of the two LPs, which is kind of dumb. I guess the first LP (with the track that had to be edited) is going to be shipped out once it gets repressed.

Hey everyone, I've been trying to track down a copy of the recalled LP which was originally supposed to come out today. Does anyone know of any stores selling it? Can you help me get a copy? Really hate the new version of the song that had to be edited. Thanks!

I'd love to have original pressings of these records but a lot of them are so tough to find in both good condition or at a good price that I'm kind of okay with just getting a nice reissue to tide me over.

Also, does anyone know of anywhere that still has the MoFi edition of Bitches Brew? I've been putting off getting it forever and now I guess it's out of print? I know that a Barnes and Noble near me has a copy, but I remember that it had a pretty thrashed jacket with seam splits when I saw it a couple of months ago. Not paying full price for that.

Wound up ordering the MoFi Kind of Blue and got it today. Listening to So What now and it sounds incredible. Not a big fan of the packaging (a gatefold sleeve would've been nicer / cheaper), but oh well.

What pressing is the Coltrane?

Wound up ordering the Kind of Blue MoFi. Are there any (in print) MM LPs that you guys would recommend as must-own? The only one I have is Lee Morgan's The Sidewinder, and I only got that because my local record store had it priced at $20 for some reason (I think they or the distro confused it with the Blue Note reissue?)

How essential would you guys say the MoFi Kind of Blue is? I don't currently own any copies of the album (I used to have the 50th box set) and am torn between getting the MoFi and saving some money and getting the Sony mono reissue from a few years back, which I've heard good things about. With this album, does it even really matter?

Any clue to how long each one is? The rehearsal video for Escape from NY that they posted was like under 4 minutes long. $20 for 8 minutes of music is pretty lame.

Do WB even still have the rights to it? It's been out of print in any format (and unavailable on iTunes/Tidal) for years.

You guys think they'll have them at the shows?

Got my copy of Streets of Rage 2 today and Data Discs really knocked it out of the park - packaging and sound are both top notch. Really wish all OST releases were of the quality that Data Discs and Brave Wave have set.

Weird that the a side on the reissue only has five tracks whereas the original had six.

Also pretty sure the only leather jacket that those patches would be the right size for is for a toddler. Perfectly okay with just keeping my copy of the original OST that I got for $10 a couple of years ago - especially since one of the two LPs in this is exactly the same.

Welp there goes my interest in this release. $40 + shipping for the cheapest version is just too much.

Any word on how much The Warriors is going to cost / what the variants are? I know that it's going on sale on Friday but some info would be nice (esp since I'm trying to decide between it and the Howarth score that Mondo is dropping today).

Picked up the s/t today and am really happy with it. Looks and sounds great.

Would also love reissues of Come and The Gold Experience. I've got a copy of the latter, but it's in pretty rough shape.

Yeah, good point. I knew that the reissues of his first two albums were already in production when he passed away, so I'm curious if the rest were already in the works. Can't really see the Graffiti Bridge soundtrack being a huge seller, so maybe some of the lesser albums were rushed in. The For You reissue looks and sounds great, so I'm looking forward to getting nice, new copies of Parade, Sign o the Times, Diamonds and Pearls, and the Love Symbol album. I own originals of almost all of these (all but Love Symbol), but these are being priced cheap enough for me to want to get them.
