Agreed. For all the inane stuff that gets posted on here, kind of silly to say the post was poor etiquette.

Congrats on the second book. Very interesting concept. Dig the design on the shirt and book cover too.

If they threw in Jon Voight's '89 Lebaron convertible, it would totally be worth it. -

Interesting for both this and the Chuck Ragan pre-order that just got launched there's no pressing info for the color variants. I wonder if they are waiting on order volume to decide how many to press. -

Marc has claimed the ticket but I just found out I have one more. I'm giving Marc first dibs on the second ticket but if he doesn't take it it'll be up for grabs here.

I've got an extra ticket to this sold out show. Ticket was from the box office so there's no service fees ($35 total). Hit me up if you're interested. I live in Jersey but I'll be at the Diarrhea Planet show at Bowery Ballroom on Thursday.

Wise move. This show was not worth the $100M they spent on season 1.

Pre-orders for The Heat deluxe reissue are live: Double LP + Poster Bundles: http://indian.co.uk/shop/the-heat-deluxe-reissue-bundles.html Double LP Only: http://indian.co.uk/shop/the-heat-deluxe-reissue-1905.html Double Vinyl & CD Reissued with Bonus Disc of live bootlegs, remixes & new sleeve notes. The Heat saw Jesse turning up both the temperature and the volume while retaining the potent rough-edged intimacy of his songs. Enter a more layered approach and LOTS of electric guitar.Today Jesse reflects on the record thus: “After my first solo record I wanted to write less about myself and more about others. The record was mostly written on the road: While my friends back home were getting married and having kids I was at the Columbia hotel waiting for the bar to open. open. Ryan Adams played some the sickest guitar all over the album and came up with the title a month later, lying in a hospital bed with a badly broken arm after falling seven foot off the stage in Liverpool. The cover was shot in the one of the last dirt bag, pay-by-the-hour hotels in Times Square (I wouldn’t sit on the bed, there was bloodstained carpet and a cigarette burned headboard…to keep it real!) Recorded in late 2003 – an extrordinary year for Malin, riding high off the reception to The Fine Art Of Self-Destruction, he returned to Britain several times and the year ended with him playing three nights with Bruce Springsteen.

Nice. This also motivated me to also pre-order the new LP. -
Brian Fallon - Painkillers (March 11th)
jerseypride replied to GhostTrail's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Realms, where'd you order yours from, Fallon's online store? If so, they should've sent you a download link (minus the 2 bonus tracks). How is Blues Mary? Is it similar to the treatment he gave Tin Pan Alley on Georgia? -
PO: The Lumineers - Cleopatra
jerseypride replied to Bhemblem's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Thanks again man. This came yesterday and it's the gray 180 gram deluxe edition. Also, the only "damage" was that the shrink wrap was slightly torn. Best $11.65 I've spent in a while. -
http://www.mergerecords.com/titus-andronicus-stadium-rock In July of 2015, noted rock band Titus Andronicus [hereafter +@] made history, twice. The wider world shook upon the impact of The Most Lamentable Tragedy [hereafter TMLT], the triple-LP rock opera that immediately established itself as the most ambitious punk record of all time, a distinction challenged only by a foolish few. Meanwhile, in the hallowed halls of Shea Stadium, New York City’s longest-running active all-ages DIY space, +@ was doing the unthinkable again, becoming the first band in the history of NYC DIY to sell out five consecutive nights at the same venue. While these epic shows ostensibly served as a record-release celebration for TMLT (as well as an uproarious shindig for the 30th birthday of +@ singer-songwriter Patrick Stickles), they shattered the limits of mere promotional exercise and reached mythical status. Sadly for the wider world, you had to be there… until now. +@ and their patient patrons at Merge Records are pleased to announce the new live LP, S+@DIUM ROCK: Five Nights at the Opera, a record which will allow fans everywhere their chance to relive the auspicious occasion from the comforts of their own home. +@’s position as the most thrilling live act in rock and roll has long been etched in stone, but never before has that riveting energy been captured on wax as it is here. The A-side to S+@DIUM ROCK revisits some of TMLT’s most celebrated hits in a newly concise context, stripping away all studio wizardry until only the primal passion remains. The B-side offers fresh electric arrangements of the largely acoustic fifth act of TMLT’s rock opera narrative, presenting a new perspective on the material Tiny Mix Tapes praised for “emotional intensity… unrivaled anywhere in rock music,” as well as debuting the previously unreleased TMLT outtake, “69 Stones.” Taken as a whole, S+@DIUM ROCK is a whirlwind journey through a moment in time never to be repeated, preserved for future generations starving for “the real deal.” Preorders will ship to arrive on or around August 5.

PO: The Lumineers - Cleopatra

I grabbed it. Thanks amigo. -
I emailed by buddy (huge Weston and Beach Slang fan) the clip from the SLC show and his response made me chuckle: This is bullshit. I have no intel other than that guy James Alex seems really annoying and emotional and is always babbling. Being locked in a van with him for weeks on end probably wears thin. Then you reach a Mormon state where you can't get full strength booze and whammo.
