  1. I die a little inside every time I see someone post a comment on social media with the phrase "that/those [insert noun(s)] though" to indicate that they like something.
  2. Agree with all the criticism of the finale and I would add that for a super-sized 90 minute episode, this was terribly paced with not much happening to advance the story.
  3. Jesse just posted on his Instagram that a deluxe reissue of the Heat is coming in June.
  4. Very happy with these LPs. I framed the poster. I was hoping for a silk screen on heavy stock but it came on flimsy glossy paper (still dig the design)
  5. I finally got around to picking this up at my local store. Very happy with how this turned out.
  6. Always impressed whenever I see your BR stuff. Have you had any luck determining if anyone in the world actually has a copy of the "... you are" matrix etching for the self-titled 7"?
  7. Beyond stoked for this. I just grabbed front row tickets to the NYC show in June when he's playing the whole record. Still a few tix left: http://www.citywinery.com/newyork/catalog/product/buytickets/id/1385826/ He's doing a similar show in Chicago.
  8. Yeah, I finally tracked down a copy of the Heat last year but the surface noise on Side B makes it almost unlistenable.
  9. Really amazing and underrated record produced by Ryan Adams (who also plays guitar). The bonus material looks great too. http://indian.co.uk/shop/the-fine-art-of-self-destruction-album.html JESSE MALIN The Fine Art Of Self Destruction (Deluxe Reissue) ( One Little Indian ) Double Vinyl & CD Reissued with Bonus Disc of original demos & new sleeve notesOriginally released in 2002, Jesse Malin’s classic solo debut is to be reissued on 26th February as a limited run on double CD and Vinyl with new sleevenotes by The Gaslight Anthem’s Brian Fallon. The second disc adds 11 more tracks originally demoed for the record at Electric Lady studios, only 4 of which made it to the final version – which gives an insight into the quantity and quality of material to hand at the time.
  10. I'm with you on the color matching. I put the Self-Titled 12", All Ages, Back to the Known, and Tested in the box. I'd be lying if I said it doesn't set off my OCD a little that these guys don't match their red buddies.
  11. Also the colored EU True North pressing was on 180 gram.
  12. Since this is coming from Epitaph it will be available elsewhere I'm sure.
  13. The black/blue variant /100 is available now on S1D. Use coupon code "thanks" for 20% off. Comes to about $18 shipped. Also have the blue variant /850 https://sideonedummy.com/product/chuck-ragan-till-midnight-lp-colored-vinyl-2014/292
  14. The real gem on this sale is the Chuck Ragan Till Midnight on Blue/Black. It's limited to 100 and it was only available though a bundle pre-order that cost close to $80. $18.00 shipped with the coupon code is a sweet deal.
  15. They were just saying that they have 30 copies left. The pressing was much larger.
  16. New Fallon solo record recently announced. Butch Walker is producing. http://thebrianfallon.tumblr.com/
  17. Yeah, well I discovered the Beatles way back in the mid-80s. Not trying to be a dick, this just made me laugh.
  18. I had no idea this movie was happening before I came across this today. I'm intrigued. http://pagesix.com/2015/09/15/jonathan-rhys-meyers-clash-movie-wows-buyers-at-tiff/
  19. My girls are now 4 and nearly 3. Fatherhood is so amazing in so many ways and so demanding in so many ways. That both my kids already have strong opinions about Chuck Ragan's discography and prefer Darkness on the Edge of Town to Doc McStuffins is one of the many joys that make my life at age 36 a million times more fulfilling than I ever imagined in would be. Congratulations to you sir.
