Mine is #2678 and came from the label. I'm fairly certain that the #'s in the 2,000s are seafoam green. I added some of this to discogs - http://www.discogs.com/Best-Coast-Crazy-For-You/release/2374047.

It's a fuckin' nightmare. At least 25% of the time I have to return the damaged vinyl. If you get it in good shape, then you pay no shipping in the US and no tax.

This has already been up on the board. I ordered one in July and got an email Tuesday stating that the pressing was delayed and that costs went up, so did the price. At least they are honoring original price quoted for prior pre-orders.

Playing the black 180 gram and the sound is real faint. I have to tweak the mids and highs on my pre-amp a bit. It also plays way more silent and the volume needs to be turned up. Will be interesting to see if the white and reds are the same. They look absolutely perfect though.

This. There's a version of Electro-Shock Blues on blue wax I'd kill to own. I believe it's a double 10". Physically, how are the Japanese counterfitting these LPs and how do you know this? As I'm sure you know, they are fanatical vinyl collectors and often buy and store multiple copies. I know counterfeit copies of records exist but the ones I've seen are very obviously not real and are not written on ebay/discogs, etc to appear real. Curious to your perspective and insights on this. I have bought a lot of vinyl from sellers around the world and if you are seeing lots of fakes then I'd like to know who is selling them.

DAC Requiem is a $300+ LP when it comes up. Coincidentally stumbled upon this threat while listening to Townes Van Zandt's Flyin' Shoes.. another absolute hero.

check out permanent (not far from reckless on milwaukee), Dave's if you have time, but it's isolated. Lauries Planet of Sound and the Chicago Independent store are both off Western Ave. ..but about 23 blocks apart Lauries and Dead Wax are both on Lincoln Ave, but about 10 blocks from each other. Dead Wax is spotty, but sometimes they have a lot of things. if you're at Lauries, you're about 15 blocks from Shake Rattle and Read. Check our all three Reckless locations - all are quite different and have very good selections of used vinyl for fair prices. You will definitely come out with plenty of great vinyl. I agree, also check our Permanent. Personally, I feel like the rest are hit-or-miss.

Thanks, will definitely post a picture if someone can tell me how to do it. Not the expedit, as this has six storage areas vs. five and is 86" tall vs. 72 7/8". Plus mine does have a backing like the aforementioned traby, but is a tall "tower" look like the expedit. Thx of the offer in Columbus, perhaps a last resort if its the same one. Mine is white.

Anyone know which model at IKEA was/is 86" tall, 15" deep (or perhaps 15.5-16" with the bottom jutting out a little and 14.5" wide. I can't seem to find it on the website. The Lack, Expedit and Billy all seem to be other sizes. I bought this shelving 2 years ago, and got three of them for $119 or $129 each but can't remember for sure. They have six compartments and a backing. Regardless, they work great and I was planning on adding to the three I have. Anyone have any idea?

I don't know why but I really like the simplicity of the Patent Pending LP. Agreed. Why, because it was simple and old skool. Patent Pending was a terrific album. Blows away anything A3 has done for years.
