  1. Got my copy in yesterday and just got a chance to spin most of the first LP and wow. This sounds awesome! The first three tracks definitely sound like totally new mixes and the mastering is top notch. So rich sounding. Can't wait to play it all the way through.
  2. Just posted the obligatory "just posted this..." reply in the Third Man Thread.

  4. Time will tell. On the Jade Tree store most black single LP's are 17.99 and colored are 19.99. Looks roughly the same on the random grouping of titles showing on the Epitaph shop main page. I think its safe to assume the TAAS reissues will follow suit but you never know. I can't imagine there being much of a premium generated for this band to exceed those prices.
  5. Not at all! I don't know what the hell I'm doing with that currency. I thought the period would go between 3 and 6 there because the website displayed a space between "13" and "690." I needed exactly that explained to me so no harm done, my man. haha. Goddamn. I almost lost it.
  6. Um... How exactly does the Forint or HUF convert to USD? I've been doing conversions while knowing nothing of the way your currency is designated in written form (as I'm seeing several different iterations) and what I'm coming up with is the records would cost 4 cents in USD each. Does this sound.... right???
  7. Thank you! I actually needed to click on the "Vinyl LP" tab to get that screen. When I clicked on their name from the link it only showed 2 CD but clicking on Vinyl LP showed what you have in the screen shot. I guess that makes perfect sense. I was just too excited to approach the site layout rationally lol. I'm a dork.
  8. That's amazing! Thank you for posting! Where exactly is the indication that there is a non-colored variant for these? I've translated the pages but I don't see anything about that.
  9. I caught that too. I believe it said "lightly remastered" so I'm guessing that means they attempted to refrain from deviating too far from the engineering notes/perceived qualities on the initial pressing's mastering parameters. I have an original of this and recently scored an original Effloresce. I don't recall anything particularly wrong with the mastering on my copy of EIP but its been a while since I've listened to it. Its a great album and checks pretty much all of my boxes for the type of music that it is but as an album, maybe its the sequencing, but I find it a bit less of a satisfying listen than Effloresce which for all of its greatness, isn't all that much different of an album compared to EIP. It feels overall a bit less busy than EIP but "busy" isn't necessarily a bad thing as I'm a pretty big TMV fan and it doesn't get much busier than that while still maintaining coherence. I guess Dillinger Escape Plan can come off much busier than either TMV or Oceansize at certain times. I also dig them but admittedly haven't spun anything by them in some time. Still, I know I have great fondness for EIP but I don't find myself going back to it that much. I played it excessively around early to mid-2008. Maybe I got my fill on replays but I still insist its part of "my music." I like Frames a lot but there is some sluggishness happening around the middle of that album that make it tough to get back into. I was super into it when it first released though. Now that I think about it both Frames and EIP were integral soundtracks to some very difficult and dark times of my life so maybe that accounts for why they are so difficult to revisit. Its only dawning on me right now that that could be the reason. Anyway, Oceansize, man. Great band.
  10. Definitely considering black single LP Ten Stories. I have dark blue gray splatter type copy of that from one of the first pressings. I don't spin that album much but I know I'm very fond of it. Feeling compelled to grab It's All Crazy... on black single LP as well just for completions sake despite my feelings about that album. Would love to see them in May but I'm just not sure if I can make that happen. Gonna sleep on this. Spinning OG black CFUTF right now. Missed out on that repress from a couple years ago. Glad my Gilead Media copies kill it.
  11. Ah! Nice guess. I was barely even cognizant that this existed but given the song title of track 4 and the theme of the posts, I'd say that's a really good indicator this could be it.
  12. The way I see it is, if they're going to release a box set of all albums after piecemeal releasing deluxe editions of individual albums, its pretty much just more ways for others to try to get their music physically. I kind of doubt if they were doing a full discography that it would be each album in the same format as the deluxe editions. It would likely be just the primary albums in single to double LP formats all together in a box leaving the deluxe editions unique in their format and content.
  13. Nice. I haven't seen anything from him on this yet. When they remastered Effloresce there was a lot more pre-release communication from him like a photo of him and few other band members outside the mastering studio where he mentioned doing the mastering off of the original analog tape which is catnip for me.
  14. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cbfod3HpckK/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link "Big news" coming next week. Probably tour dates like Brian Cook has been hinting at through his Tumblr. Maybe announcing the other LP reissues.
  15. Good logic. Yeah, I hope its not something I'm going to want because I'm trying really hard to stick to a no-splurge budget right now.
  16. I was right about something! Finally... been waiting on this day...
  17. Yeah, I never went with deluxe on any of their stuff since they began doing that. Except for Pale Horses but that was a totally unique form of deluxe package unlike the ones they've been doing in the somewhat ubiquitous packaging style for the other albums and I only got it because it was the only way I could get it in black at the time. Its probably not a retrospective box but its all I can think of based on the pattern of the musical accompaniment to the posts.
