  1. Okay, so this just happened. I'll randomly search eBay for whatever. And I came across this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&hash=item3a64cbde1b&item=250799185435&nma=true&pt=Music_on_Vinyl&rt=nc&si=qmroGgSohCH4pUBVBXdP4GXWYCc%253D I loved this album as a teen and even still today there are some great songs on it. I couldn't believe the BIN was so low. I had to go on and get it. It's sealed and most used ones go for $30+.
  2. people will be surprised when they hear how shitty the record is... That's pretty good for you. I bought a black (/100) and a pink (/100) from the label. It was sealed and there were only like 40 available to the public. I had to get rid of some stuff and I thought that would get more money since it was limited. Went for like $35 or something. Quite disappointing.
  3. I've wanted a copy of the 'White Album' on white vinyl for the novelty for a while.
  4. So, since Sound Stage Direct and Amazon have copies, this was repressed and nobody knew about it?
  5. So, my theory is holding true. I play so much better on limit games. If I make a dumb move, it doesn't cost me the game. The only annoying thing is knowing you have the better hand statistically and you can't take more chips from someone else.
  6. Being a dad is a surprising joy I never knew existed. Congrats on the baby!
  7. I know the money is appealing but it really is such a good album.
  8. I guess $40 is better than $75 which is what they were going for at one time. I bought one of the white ones on the farewell tour and it was $25 at the show.
  9. 138. Do the initials “R.V.G.” mean anything to you? I wonder how impressive it is if I own a shit ton of 45's that do?
  10. I've been playing the Gang Fight parody every day since I've heard it.
  11. ^^^^^ I know repressings are typically 'better' per say, but part of the obsession is trying to find the rarer, more collectible records. I know it's about the music and all that, but the desire to track down the hard to find vinyl is what fuels the hobby.
  12. The Donnas are hot, EXCEPT that one that Ben Weasel is covering up.
  13. When I got my second job, which became my real job, I was so happy to turn in my notice. The joke is on my because I can't quit totally (had to stay part time) because I need time to build up my case load.
  14. I bought a copy for $14 from Park Ave in Orlando before I knew there was a second pressing. The copy I bought had the 7" so I sold it on Amazon for $20. I made a buck but i got rid of this stinking repress. Now, I need an original.
  15. that must be the real reason why i haven't gotten into them LOL.
  16. I worked 64 hours a week last year to make 27K. But I had a baby coming, so you know...
  17. I have also spent the time I have between seeing clients today reading this thread. 7 pages of numerous lols and sd/bh.
  18. Kinda wished I joined the record club so I could get that other variant but Appleseed are the only band I really dig.
  19. Thanks dude. This job was supposed to be the dream job and it's turning out to be a nightmare. I worked for a non-profit for 4 years doing overnights. It was great while I was in grad school but then it turned out to be a bummer. A lot of it was my boss and the way the organization is run. Boss is gone now so it's better but the place is still on it's way to obvilion unless they make some changes. I know an office job blows but to work one job, 40 hours a week, instead of doing 2 jobs at 50-60 hours, would just be the tits. It's true. Some have better reasons than others, I suppose. But it's the 'grass is always greener' mentality.
  20. Let's get back to talking shit about poker. Everyone has opinions on the value of careers, but it's so subjective, nobody is going to convince me that anything is better than the other. Matter of fact, I have a Masters Degree and with it I teach/counsel kids and teens for a mental health rehab company and it's the biggest bullshit job. While I'm contributing to the betterment of others, I make no money. I have to work two jobs to pay bills. Right now, a dream job would be a 9-5, Mon-Fri, making $40K a year. DREAM JOB!
