The fixed cameras seem to be a more recent phenomena in the US. Sure, they've been around a while in larger cities, but the it's only been over the last couple years that my city and others have added them. We only have red light cameras in California, though. I have seen cameras with radar that nab speeders in Arizona.

I've been working on my collection for a while. I've probably got over 50 coozies at this point. I use them all and keep them in constant rotation; I always have a coozie slipped over my wallet so that I can be ready. It gets funny looks from people, who think I have a "wallet holder", or those that realize it's a coozie and then wonder why I carry it. I just tell them you never know when someone might put a beer in your hand and I'm gonna be ready. Seriously though, I've carried one for so long it's essential when I leave the house. I can tell if it's not in my pocket and it drives me nuts.

Yeah, and they've also increased their prices since they've gotten more "popular" I don't know if it's so much their popularity driving up the prices as it was the price of raw materials driving everything up last year and then never coming back down. Last year hops, barley, corn, fuel, etc. were all at record levels. Everything, including beer, rose in price. Beer is still continuing to increase in price, despite food and other beverages dropping down again.

PBR is overrated. Agreed.

The GatorPaks that VC and Fat use for single 7"s are actually made for CDs in jewel cases, I believe. They are pretty cheap if you buy in bulk (50 or more).

I've gotten lots of tickets (I never learn) and have done lots of research on this subject. That said, there is some bad info in this thread. Some of the statements are absolutely incorrect, others are only half true. My advice, don't take accept everyone's advice at face value. There are LOTS of myths out there that have absolutely no basis in reality but people continually pass them on as true. Always do your research. Anyways, here's a few things to keep in mind. I'm not sure where you're from, but in California if you fight a traffic ticket and lose you give up any shot you have at taking traffic school. It says so right there on the documents the court sends you. Check your local laws, but if they're like California this is a HUGE reason not to fight it, especially if you know you're in the wrong. It's typically cheaper to take the $200 fine than to see your insurance rates skyrocket for the next few years. Don't count on cops not showing up. Cops get paid to show up in court and testify just like any other part of their job, except in court they don't risk getting shot at.

At least the stuff showed up Saturday.

Well, if you notice, all the posturing fits along with what you'd expect from the type of song playing. When you have Kurt's character selected for a Nirvana or other grunge type song he'd act more like you'd expect. When you have Kurt's character selected during a hair metal song of course he's going to act like a cock rock superstar. I'm pretty sure any character would posture in exactly the same way depending on the song/type of music you were playing as. Does that make sense?

I thought about getting a table but I only have three records and my distro stuff isn't any different than a few of the others. I'm just gonna enjoy registration day and hanging out with old friends. I'm stoked on Fest.

I'm leaving on a little trip and want to add a couple movies to my netbook since it doesn't have a DVD drive. I don't mind paying for them but I don't want to have to pay full price for a movie I don't own a hardcopy of. Besides, I probably wouldn't watch something on my computer more than once. Is there any site that "rents" movies digitally, where you can watch it and have two days and it's no good afterwards? Or if there are any good torrent sites for movies let me know. Just want 2-3 movies or some TV shows to kill some time. Thanks.
