Last week I received two packages that took a month to get to me from various places in the country. This evening I just check the tracking on something that finally was updated after a month in Jersey City. Assuming it gets to me in the next day or so, it will have taken six weeks from the middle of the country. Unreal! I also bought a record from someone on ebay that got lost in the JCDC Void, so I contacted the seller, he contacted the PO, my local PO manager called me about it earlier this month, but still no record. When I look up the tracking it says the case was opened on the 3rd, but then closed on the 4th, but still no item. Makes me think that one is just gone. Again, not mad about this, but man it's perplexing! EDIT: Just double checked the missing for six weeks tracking # against the ebay closed case number and they are the same, so there is that. Impressive!

Oh not at all. I was only trying to help, if by chance you didn't understand the severity of it here. Of course we all have bigger fish to fry during a scenario such as this, but damn, we need new music too! One can only listen to the same 500 records for so long.

One thing I learned during this was to get in contact with the USPS to have them put a 'tracer' on something that has gone MIA. When doing so, you can get contacted via email or elect to get a call from a human, which might be the manager at your local PO. They call you pretty quickly believe it or not. Currently you can't just call the general USPS # and speak to a human, as you could pre-pandemic. Overload and short staffed I'd imagine. I've had several items go MIA in the Jersey City Distro center. When I've spoke to a manager about this at my local PO, they all say it's a "transportation issue". The items I'm waiting for, like all of us here, aren't life and death, but it's awfully puzzling as to just how many packages are backed up and waiting Jersey City? A few weeks ago when I was looking into this, I did a google search and found this long thread written by Amazon sellers. Those people are in a pickle! The USPS relies heavily on commercial airlines for their international shipping, as they don't have their own planes for such a thing. As a result, depending where your package started here in the states, it could be knocking around the country before it gets to say one of the major airports that would have flights going to Hungary during the current situation. So it might could be several delayed scenarios adding up to the extended delay you are experiencing. Just a guess.

It seems you are in Canada, which is sadly a deal breaker when one lives in the US. The shipping is crazy high.

I'm intrigued, but generally a list is needed or a link to a discogs collection of what you have. Would be interested to see what of the 60's 70's R&R you have.

I did get mine from ROG and also was one of the comment at discogs. It is possible these all arrived with sleeve damage?

Received this today also, but with seams splits at the top of the cover and a corner ding. Not too keen on that. It sounds good, but maybe a bit compressed.
