“The rest” as if they won’t sell out. Haha. I’d love a large pressing on black just for it to be available. Maybe there’s a chance further down the road since they’re doing this small press.

They said they were only able to get 100 through customs, so I think by "the rest" they mean the remaining stock that is back in the US.

  2. Handful of the orange & black splatter been added to the UK store : https://thebronx.tmstor.es/product/78066 [/300]

Wouldn't be surprised if a test press or two pops up - almost lost mine as an old bank card was attached to my pre-order so was declined when they tried to process my order.

Thankfully caught the email in time to update my payment method, but some may miss it so sold out stock may show up again,

  3. If you can buy 1 record per ticket I'll pick up an extra up for someone here as I'm planning to hit up both London shows.

Wonder how they're allocating these; a ltd number available for each show with the pre-order up on Friday? Or a pressed-to-order system where every ticket holder has the option to buy one and pick it up at their show?

Either way, as always, Glassjaw are gonna Glassjaw eh!

Glassjaw recently announced a 2022 tour with two-night stands in most cities, which will find them performing their 2000 debut album Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence and their 2002 sophomore album Worship And Tribute in full. Now it's been revealed that the band will also be giving 180 gram colored vinyl reissues to both albums, and packaging them together with a vinyl release of Live At The Forum, recorded at The Forum in London in 2011 and featuring songs from their first two albums and their 2011 EP Our Color Green (but the vinyl release won't include the Coloring Book encore). EYEWTKAS comes on cyan vinyl, Worship And Tribute on magenta, and the live album on yellow, and they will only come all together as a three-piece vinyl set (not separately).

Making the Worship And Tribute reissue even more exciting, it will include "Convectuoso," which Glassjaw intended to close out the album but which they had to leave off the record due to label issues. They've since gained back the rights to the song, and this reissue marks the first vinyl release of Worship And Tribute with the tracklist that Glassjaw originally intended.

The three-piece vinyl set will only be available to ticketbuyers for Glassjaw's upcoming tour, and ticket-holders will pick up their purchased vinyl at the show they attend. Pre-orders launch on Friday, July 9 at noon ET and we'll have the records available to order in our store with packaging exclusive to our stores. We'll let you know as soon as pre-orders are up, and remember you need a ticket to the tour to purchase the records. All dates and all ticket links below (including newly-added shows in Pomona, Chicago, and London):

"Glassjaw, whose last album was 2017's ‘Material Control’, have also announced 'Live At The Forum', a three-piece vinyl set that marks their first official live release. It was recorded at their 2011 London Forum gig, which included songs from both 'Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence' and 'Worship And Tribute', as well as the 2011 EP 'Our Color Green'." - Stereogum

  6. I wonder if there are still label / contract issues with EYEWTKAS and W&T so Glassjaw would have to do a Taylor Swift and re-record the albums to release them as they see fit?  Or maybe they're live play-throughs of the albums?

I expect it's just a simple re-release that'll likely be remastered, but as this is Glassjaw I feel like nothing, no matter how wild, can be completely off the table!

Remember when they played a recording of a live show at a movie theater in Long Island? I bet this record is the audio from that show.

I was actually at that Long Island movie theater thing. The show was awesome. I always assumed it would be released as a DVD at some point.

They did this in London too. Daryl popped in about 1/2 way through the screening and watched some of it with the audience, was very weird.

  8. For those looking for the Flexi: Got mine with the yellow indies variant today via Spillers Records; reached out on Tuesday to see if they still had any Flexi's left and they said they had a few, so if you're looking worth getting in touch.

There may be some left at Relevant Records Cafe too - they also told me on Tuesday they had 'more than they expected' so may have some left.  Ask before ordering as there isn't any info on their website, but they're very quick to reply.

I don't know if I messed up a little cause of the time differences in the UK but I went on a little before 6pm our time and they were all listed (I thought they were due AT 6pm).

Unfortunately even with getting a few to cart, everytime I went to pay I got an error message. That or the whole MD site was down

So, if anyone has an extra and would be willing to part with it, please let me know!

If both of mine arrive here in the UK, I'll very likely let one go for cost [I ordered from 2 different sites to up my chances that at least  one will arrive safely]

Though may be worth reaching out to the below UK based poster in case their spare copy is still going.

Just got one on Revolver too so hopefully I get 1 of the 2 lol

I've ordered from Saint Victus and Revolver...  with international shipping as bad as it can be at the best of times, I fully expect one of these to go missing so wanted to up my chances of owning at least 1 copy.

Got 'YELLOW RED BLUE' from SV and 'GREEN ORANGE CLEAR' from Revolver.

also I chose the CD+DVD version on merch direct but I didn't read any of the description

anyone know what the DVD is of?

Probs the  Coloring Book 'encore' from their Kentish Town Forum gig - this DVD was previously packaged with OCG CD  giveaways to those attending the screenings of the show in London & New York.

Probably a stupid question. Do I need to track down one of those logo adaptors to actually listen to this thing? Or does it come with it?

I'm not even 100% what I ordered lol.

Thankfully I still have mine from the 7" run, but I also picked up a couple cardboard spares on eBay this year so if you need one let me know.

Managed to get one on Saint Vitus which had very decent international shipping prices [like 2/3 cheaper that GJs site]
