Do they not everywhere? I saw lines on TV and was really confused. They have them at every liquor store/ grocery store/ 7-11 here.

I'd put in 5, but I don't want to deal with going to the store and figuing out how to buy lotto tickets so I won't.

I believe that the White Horse is a superduper HAPPY bar. Maybe a rabbit will be there because I see no bunny in all of these line-ups? Yeah. I looked at the website, the rainbows kind of gave it away.

I like all of these bands at least somewhat except Marcy Playground.

+1 for saying fuck that. Wow, can't believe that ticket prices have gone up in 15 years when a band is about 20x more popular than they were then. If anything, based on the SF show they should be charging more. The cheapest 2nd hand tickets are $100 dollars. If they charged more the band would make more money instead of scalpers.

Threads like this remind me that we're lucky to have the Fillmore and the Warfield as far as big venues go here.

I had a murse for work but then it got stolen. If I had to look nice I'd do that, if not backpack! The one good thing about the murse is that when I sat on the subway I could just spin it around instead of taking it off like you do with a backpack.

I'd agree with you, but changing from file clerk to pool cleaner isn't exactly shooting for the stars. It probably sucks as much as any other job.

Totally agree. I signed up while giving blood once (which is another easy thing to do). There are video ads at all the gas stations here of a couple parents asking people to register because their son is sick. Its really sad.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass (no bands announced) Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA October 5, 6, & 7, 2012 Pros: Lots of awesome bands, the last couple years I've seen Lucero, Justin Townes Earle, Steve Earle, Elvis Costello etc Free Golden Gate Park is a great setting - its all grass and you can bring in drinks and just lounge around. Cons: 1,000,000,000 people edit: October is San Francisco's summer, so this counts.
