  1. That's what I figured. Gonna try to get to the venue early so I don't have nosebleed seats
  2. Yeah, that makes total sense. Coming from someone that has six 75ct 7" boxes almost entirely filled up, I've bought next to zero new 7"s in the last few years (but have purchased single-sided 12" EPs), solely because as a consumer I couldn't justify $10-12 for one. These are the times I suppose.
  3. Loving the new songs. I wish bands would stop pressing 10 minutes of music onto a 12" EP though.
  4. Really tempted to buy this. I own the discography that Temp Res did 10 years ago (which is missing a bunch of stuff) but has all of Lyburnum. Ugh
  5. Honestly, I think seeing The Hated alone will be worth going. They’re probably not going to be playing much more. But I’m also fawning over 90% of that lineup so that’s just me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  6. Just got tickets to go see Codeine play a 150 cap venue in Brooklyn. I'm pretty effing stoked right now
  7. Oh damn! I was just in Richmond last weekend! Enjoy the show tomorrow! I’m bummed for missing it also, make sure you hit up Wanna Hear It Records in Watertown and Armageddon Shop in Harvard Square. (Which is a 2 min walk from the venue)
  8. That was a fun set. Were you also at the Cave In set at Fête last summer? Cool to see a fellow Bostonian / New Englander in this group
  9. MORROW - The Quiet Earth pre-orders just dropped For those unfamiliar, Morrow is the neo-crust/d-beat band of Alex CF (he sang in Lightbearer, Fall Of Efrafa, Momentum, Archivist, and a bunch of others) US/North America via The Plague Of Man Records https://store.theplagueofmanrecords.com/album/the-quiet-earth-2 Europe via Alerta Antifascista Records https://doomrock.com/music/lp/1474/morrow-quiet-earth-2xlp-2.-versions
  10. Thanks! Wasn't planning to buy records until I visited my local shop and here we are haha. Gotta pick up that new Alvvays and Dream Unending as well hah
  11. It's my birthday and I completely spaced on this until 1:15. I was going to be PISSED if I missed a copy of this.
  12. https://hexrecords.bandcamp.com/album/colonial-wound-easy-laugh new Colonial Wound is incredible! I had never heard this band until a friend just showed me this new album. Sounds like: Botch/ETID/Deadguy/Chat Pile all rolled into one. 🤯
  13. new Chained To The Bottom Of The Ocean dropped. It’s pretty damn good doom https://chainedtothebottomoftheocean.bandcamp.com/album/i-tried-catching-you-but-you-fell-through-me
  14. Yeah, Rex in general has always been a hit or miss band for me. I’m probably going to sit with this for a bit before deciding if I want it
  15. https://numerogroup.com/products/c-1?variant=42487687741638 just announced for PO. Figured this might interest some of you. ”Rex’s seminal 1996 sophomore album C, now on deluxe double vinyl for the first time. Every one of C’s 66 minutes is a delightful exploration at the intersection of slowcore and alt-country, weaving heartfelt Americana, stately strings, progged-out rhythms and crashingly heavy climaxes into captivating epics. Remastered from the original analog tapes, C has been given a second life beyond the CD-era, and comes housed in a tip-on jacket with restored artwork from guitarist Curtis Harvey.”
  16. Haha I like “More” but not enough to buy it. “Everything” on the other hand… 😍
  17. https://jigsaw-records.com just found out Jigsaw Records has distro copies of BLANKENBERGE if anyone still needs a copy. $28 shipped too! Pretty good deal!
  18. What a bloodbath, the site was crashing long before they even went up. Got black ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it was hard to justify pulling the trigger on a $35 LP solely based on principle but I’m sure I’d have some FOMO if I didn’t
  19. Also, anyone manage to snag a Prayer For Cleansing on TLAL? https://tolivealie.com/store Site was crashing 5 minutes before the clock even
  20. The new Hourglass album is up for PO. It's insanely good. RIYL: Botch / These Arms Are Snakes but more screamy hardcore punk https://councilrecords.com/album/atomic-clock
  21. 90's post-hardcore band THE CROWNHATE RUIN has an LP up for pre-order containing all of their splits, EPs, and comp songs. Don't sleep on this! For those who aren't familiar; The Crownhate Ruin was members of Hoover, June Of 44, John Henry West, Admiral, 1.6 Band, etc. https://newatlantisrecords.bandcamp.com/album/singles-and-early-recordings-1994-1995-lp Euroheads should order from B-Core who I believe is co-releasing the record https://bcstore.bcoredisc.com/shop/bcore/the-crownhate-ruin/vinyl/singles-and-early-recordings-1994-1995/
  22. That was my first time seeing Integrity, Indecision, Warthog, and All Out War (I know, I know) and Indecision stole that show for me. The setlist was so good
