Ordered MYT directly from the band when it was first announced (Mogwai Official Store). Shipped from somewhere in NY and came in the shoddiest whiplash mailer that looked taco-ed when it arrived, with zero added protection. Surprisingly zero dings, bumps, seam splits. Can’t wait to spin later today.

Yeah, I ordered a floppy from them (don’t judge hahaha) and it was ridiculously fast and super well packed.

Yeah, my section reeked of whisky. I was honestly happy Unwound got the crowd to swarm the stage, I was getting annoyed with sitting the entire time haha. And the fact that it was so dingy was cool, mainly because security didn’t care that I brought in my backpack (for medical purposes)

Numero Twenty Day 1 was nuts: -had never heard Ui before today, the edible I took helped me enjoy their set more -Tsunami were so much fun -Chisel were amazing. Ted Leo is a treasure and everyone should go see Chisel on their upcoming tour if they can -Karate felt much louder than when I saw them play their “second” show back together in Boston. Much shorter set this time around and not closing on This Time Next Year was kind of a bummer but I get it, it’s a long-ass song. Solid set otherwise. I always fawn over how good Gavin is at drums. -Unwound stole the show for me. I’m very happy I bought tickets to see them in NYC next month. Hoping I get blessed with some flowers next time

Since we’re talking other Numero Twenty bands: For anyone that has the Hated - Best Piece Of Shit. Vol. 4 (tape + CD + 7"); does the tape & 7" have the original inserts containing the lyrics? (similar to what Dischord did with that 7” boxset) I'm considering double dipping on this release since it also contains a few extra bonus songs not found on the 2xLP version.

Not that I know of. Maybe they’ll list leftovers after Numero Twenty. Honestly the cat shirts were the best looking designs from what I remember, I could’ve sworn I saw Numero post about repressing them recently but I can’t seem to find it now

Wasn’t able to get a picture, they had maybe 8 different shirt designs (a few color variants of the cat shirt which I love) and a few others I’ve never seen. Probably just small runs of each. the only record I saw on their table was the double LP repress of Barely Real for $25. Maybe they’ll have more at the fest. they were so good though. I’m still a little lit but the songs I remember were: D / Pickup Song / Pea / Cave In / Broken Hearted Wine / Sea / Tom / Median / Atmosphere / Promise Of Love / Loss Leader I feel like I’m missing a few. They played for 60-70 minutes

The setlists I've seen looked NUTS. At first I was a little bummed I bought a ticket to see them in NYC once the Numero Twenty lineup got announced, but now I'm even more amped because it'll be a standing-room venue that's significantly smaller. I'm bummed, I've been slacking on buying the No Energy and Empire boxsets (I have the first two), and they've gone up so much in price on Discogs. Really hoping they get repressed.

Yeah, I'm not liking the price tag on this one. It was $50 shipped for me and that was a tough call
