  1. Bought this a few months ago. It's so fucking good! It sounds just like it was being played on an old tape, but it fits the aesthetic so well. Highly recommend to all Karate fans even if it sounds nothing alike
  2. https://numerogroup.com/products/best-piece-of-shit-vol-4 ”This one’s been teased for awhile, decades even. The Hated box set was an idea before Numero was an idea. Today we’re pleased to announce the first of five planned Hated collections that we’ll be rolling out over the next several years. Up first is Best Piece Of Shit Vol. 4, which compiles the Annapolis quartet’s earliest explorations into revolution summer emo. Spread across two LPs is the band’s 1985 debut cassette, the No More We Cry EP, and 14 period bonus tracks from these hardcore hooligans. We’ve also made a limited 7”+CD+tape edition with an additional five bonus tracks. Andrew Gephardt and Ken Shipley provide lengthy essays on the band and scene, illustrated by dozens of photographs from the band’s archive. We’ve got 500 copies broken bone white wax los both, but not for long. The Hated on Numero… Never said it’s be like this, right?” expected to ship late November
  3. Anyone else's copy arrived super dinged and with seam splits? What's the best way to reach out for a replacement jacket? (If possible)
  4. I wonder if there’s any plan for them to repress the back catalogue of Three Mile Pilot. This has me all sorts of excited though. Before Lincoln / Cerberus Shoal and that last 3MP album, they haven’t really done much emo / post-hardcore stuff since Moss Icon, right? edit: I’m dumb, totally forgot about all the Envy stuff. I should know this, they’re one of my favorite bands 😂
  5. Hell yes! Great news! I literally just bought Hand Me Down a few weeks ago but I’m definitely going to have to double dip here
  6. I had to put my doggo / best friend down the day before. That’s why I opted to not go ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  7. I had to say goodbye to my best friend / doggo on Friday afternoon so lately it's been Carissa's Wierd, Type O Negative and today nothing but "A Crow Looked at Me" by Mount Eerie.
  8. Did they have copies of the new record when you saw them? They’re playing tomorrow and I’m debating going
  9. I thought it sounded pretty good! My copy was a little dished, not sure if that was an isolated incident but it plays fine and there’s def some dynamics. Wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s my best sounding record but I don’t have any complaints
  10. Willowtip is repressing Discordance Axis’ - “Jouhou” https://discordanceaxis.bandcamp.com/album/jouhou
  11. Don’t forget Mental broke edge, Panic Broke Up and all the wacky auto-fill word replacements. @jhulud can we do a word replacement on this board for ‘vinyl’?
  12. Woah! There’s a new “b9 board”??? I spent the better part of 10 years on there and strangely even met my now-wife from there hahaha. God damn that board was the best / worst at equal times 😂 RIP With Honor’s cash box and probably Br0phy
  13. Damn, for some reason I wasn't seeing it on their bandcamp. I guess it's still there.
  14. Not sure what your budget looks like but here’s a new copy for about $52 shipped to the US from the UK. (Which I think is about what it sold for initially) LINK
  15. If anyone else was having mega FOMO and couldn't find a cheap copy, I just stumbled upon this listing. It was like $35 shipped (new) from the UK eBay listing here
  16. Same! I missed the chance to buy it at Newbury Comics when it was first released and regretted it since. Now they just need to press Life Is Killing Me and I’ll be set 😍
  17. I could do without the live songs and the steep shipping was hard to justify (it’s an import so I shouldn’t complain there) but I had to pull the trigger

  19. It comes out tomorrow. (I guess technically midnight tonight) if you have a VPN and want to travel to the future, you might be able to hear it. I’m patient and can wait four more hours
  20. So happy to see this record/band getting more love! I had an original pressing of this many moons ago and sold it when I fell on hard times. Glad I’m not having to drop $30-40 on a used copy this time around. Everyone who likes post-rock tinged post hardcore/90’s emo should check this out
