I have no WLTS albums in my collection and I've been eyeing everything on ATA.

Got a notification they dropped earlier this morning and figuring I should finally pull the trigger.

The point system ATA has is nice too, I have like 1200 store credit points (so about $12 in credit) unfortunately I don’t think it works for pre-orders :(

Yeah, I love their demo sound as well as the polished album sound, so far they've never disappointed!

I already ordered a copy of this new LP but I’m still kind of new to the band. Having only heard Dead Kids and Canary Yellow, which polished-sounding record would you recommend checking out next?

I found the box set at Reckless Records in Chicago so had to get it. Too bad Numero Outlet is only open on fridays, or I would have gone there. Maybe it’s good cause that probably saved me a lot of money. Haha.

Do they still have copies at the outlet? I didn’t see any at the outlet tables at Numero Twenty. Phenomenal boxset either way. I missed it when I saw their first reunion in 2012-2013 and forever regretted it until I saw one at my local shop last year

At this point I’d love if they’d do a nice boxset. Regardless, I’m just stoked I’ll be able to own a copy of YPAA. Especially at the sound quality I’d expect from the Inlet and Downward pressings.

Those are easily some of the best sounding records I own! Hammock’s “Longest Year” might follow in third place.

Damn, I guess they’re still excluding the last five songs that were on the original press. “It’s Cool, We Can Still Be Friends” is my favorite Bright Eyes song and it doesn’t appear on the repress. :(

edit: according to Reddit, I stand wrong. I hope this is the case

Yes I do, BUT I gotta direct the diehards to a friend’s latest passion project. Restoring rips of the original material as faithfully as possible, as he didn’t like how much Numero blunted frequencies with their harsher noise-removal techniques:

What two songs are missing? I have everything besides the “Live - Blue Universe” CD and the 12” version of the s/t 7” that Adagio released and I never noticed Giving Birth To Thunder was missing anything hahaspacer.png

Went to the There We’re Wires reunion show last night in Providence. They had silkscreened slip covers for the self titled reissue, I think limited to 50. Incredibly they sold them separately so I wasn’t forced to double dip on the vinyl. And at $5 a pop!! Other bands should do this!

Great show that felt like a HS reunion for me.

This weekend was so much fun! My friend broke his arm at the Sinclair show and had the band sign his cast yesterday 😂
