Seriously though. Most pop music sucks but you have to admire what Weezy/Young Money and Cash Money are doing. Drake and Nicki Minaj are super talented. If anything, they're on way to many songs which does get annoying. Wayne has a lot of trash mixtapes but his albums are for the most part really good and most Cash Money big hits are classics. Wayne has also had his new album in his head since he was in prison, and thats a fact. Dude is a baller. I think Kanye is a pompous ass and I've never been into any of his songs. I am in NO most of the year and the hip hop radio, Q93 blows any of the wanna be rap stations up in Connecticut. I can listen to the radio all day and not get bored, unless they play a lot of R&B. CT hip hop radio has the same 3 songs on repeat all day. Also, Wayne has drastically improved his live performance. I saw him 2 years ago and he was terrible. He finally got a live routine down and made his live show incredible. Most of his sets now are spot on. Most rappers dont go into concerts with a game plan and they're usually terrible.

There's tons of great music being made right now, you just have to be willing to adjust to new genres and sounds. It took me a while to get into a lot of "blog" type bands and leave the typical hardcore/metal/punk sound I was used too but I've found more new and exciting artists in the last year than I have in a while. drabley, if you have any interest in electronic/dance/disco stuff, my friends are doing very exciting things in New Orleans right now.
