  1. Wooderson is the name of my dog, actually. Named after the above referenced movie character
  2. Wow. I already have this, but anyone who doesnt and digs it should pick it up at this price. I sure paid a lot more
  3. Yeah I have it. Sounds good. And it is worth it just for this little trick: Put it on sad but true and turn it all the way down to 33 RPM, or slower if your table goes. HEAVIEST doom track of all time! For those who think that riff is already heavy, wait till you hear it at half speed. CD owners will never know
  4. Awesome, Thanks for the update Jake. I have had this LP for a while and kept putting off paying import prices for the CD, and was finally about to cave until you originally announced this coming out a while back. And if you can get some of their other stuff for the store too I would look forward to it, especially the CDs which I find are harder to track down than the vinyl.
  5. My latest trip cross country to Seattle earlier this year, was planned with vinyl shopping as the number one reason to go. Some friends and I had gone out a couple of years prior and had stumbled into such an awesome place in general, but plenty of amazing shops to buy vinyl and music otherwise, with Easy Street and Zion's Gate (Kreation records) being the targets for most of our cash to be spent. We waited until there was a good show out there to decide on the date to go back and when we saw the Converge/Neurosis back to back dates on the weekend, followed by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony the next night at the same venue, we couldnt resist. We will go back again, sooner rather than later, and again, vinyl shopping will be the main allure.
  6. Ordered! Psyched about these in general, but something that limited is always a plus.
  7. I am a notorious listmaker so I cant resist adding mine here even though I like completely different music than everyone thus far. I still need to listen to a few albums before mine is final, but the top 10 of it shouldnt change anyway at this point. 1. Opeth - Watershed 2. Samothrace - Life's Trade 3. Deadbird - Twilight Ritual 4. Torche - Meanderthal 5. Trap Them - Seizures... 6. Disfear - Live The Storm 7. Intronaut - Prehistoricisms 8. Nachtmystium - Assassins... 9. Genghis Tron - Board Up The House 10. Enslaved - Vertebrae
  8. Got one version of both. So excited! I always dont find out about these until they sell out. Good timing this time, I guess.
  9. You won't see me disagreeing. Top 2 or 3 release of 2008 for sure.
  10. I actually just took down all my records that were on my wall, because I am moving next week. Never took any pics to post. Mine were actually velcroed to the wall (in sleeves of course), which worked out fine until you take them down and have to deal with taking the velcro, and the adhesive residue, off of the wall, so I officially do not recommend that method.
  11. Indeed! These were my two most anticipated POs (until the new Enslaved hits on LP). Cant wait for these to come. Hope I get the most limited versions.
  12. I have the newer batch (deliverance, damnation, and blackwater), the other ones I had the originals. All the represses are amazing. 180G, Gatefold sleeve. Looks and sounds awesome. Now we just need that Still Life repress!
  13. yeah, this is true, although i'm not really a 'collector' in that sense. I wouldn't be either when it came to hip hop at least, since it isn't really my genre of choice even though I still love the early 90s ones I came up on. If there was a limited version of a hip hop record as compared to a black one in the quantities we can assume they are pressed in, I dont think I would care. You would think the hip hop vinyl marketing may be missing the boat on that to a certain extent, but if we don't care, maybe who would given that they play to a different demographic, including DJs who could care less about such things (I know DJs dont spin full hip hop LPs, but you get my drift) Edit: While we are on the subject, if anyone knows where I can get a copy of Warren G - Regulate...G Funk Era on vinyl besides ebay, let me know
  14. I've got a bunch. Almost all Bone Thugs albums, Both Dre Albums, Doggystyle, Aquemini, Wu-Tang Greatest Hits, etc. Even though I have a lot of them Hip Hop Vinyl is far less appealing to the collector because you don't see (m)any limited releases for the most part.

  16. It sure is Any pending pressing of that in the future? Get on it, Adam !
  17. I still have to listen to his as I also just received my copy the other day. The 2x10" blew my mind, so I am hoping this one can compete. Amazing band, one of the only screamo releases put out since the early landmark stuff that started it that I loved (but I am by no means a screamo aficionado either).
  18. Virgil, For some reason I thought all Ferret vinyl went through you. But I see a preorder for the new SYNT on their site with no mention of it here. Is that not being released here?
  19. Good to see someone else from NH on here.... where are you located? Did Manch have a good selection? Ditto my friend. I live in Concord. Manch didn't have anything vinyl-wise that they haven't had this whole time, but I knew this sale was coming so held out for a while to capitalize on some stuff I had been waiting to pick up. Nashua has a little better vinyl selection from my experience, but none of them can compare to the Boston ones unfortunately.
  20. Just buy the box set and do them all But seriously, Oceanic will sum it up for you. then if you like, proceed from there. If you like Oceanic, look into the False Light remix that the dude from 27 does on the remix album. I can only assume it is also the chick from 27 that does the female vocals, but I think it blows away the original False Light.
