It was the green swamp. It was the only other variant I believe.

I am finally happy. My oxblood that I got in the mega bundle was a mess and as it was sold out there were no replacements available. I saw the swamp green wasn't on the merch site anymore and ordered from Amazon. It was showing as shipping in the next few days for a LONG time before it finally left - really didn't think they had any copies! Got it earlier this week and thank the gods it sounds perfect. Love this album so much!

Not overly familiar with a lot of this this stuff but I LOVE Nightmare Ending and have been hoping it would get pressed. Wonder if it'll get a solo release. For someone that likes that album would I be into the other stuff?

I got my Oxblood this morning and it sounds terrible. Came with the layer of dust like everyone else but after a good clean it's got a LOT of surface noise and crackle. Pretty disappointed! Such a long wait.

Sooo...yesterday was pretty amazing for me. I got to see Clint Mansell perform live as part of Melbourne Festival. Prior to the show they had a 'Conversation with Clint' - a kind of interview/Q&A type thing in one of the halls. Was really interesting to hear him speak about his early days, influences, relationship with Darren Aronofsky/Trent Reznor, how he approaches writing etc. He definitely is not part of the Hollywood machine - quite the character! I got to meet him afterwards and got him to sign my Moon record..so stoked! AND I used the opportunity to ask him about The Fountain pressing (how could I not!). He said straight up that Mondo are doing it next year and they are doing Noah as well. Then mentioned how Black Swan is being released now etc. So there it is...we WILL get The Fountain. The show was absolutely amazing. Played all the highlights from Pi, Requiem, Noah, The Wrestler, Moon, & The Fountain. Blew my mind! Can't wait to hear High Rise...heard good things!

Yep sure did. Used Audio Intelligent No. 15 for a pre-clean and soak, then used No. 6 and gave a good scrub/clean etc and followed with my brush. The issue with the split is you can hear noise as it goes through the white part which is quite loud and then followed by constant ticks. Can try another clean though.

Im having the worst luck with this record. My 180g Black sounds horrible and was scratched and had the C/D issue and so I decided to get the Hobbledehoy black/white but it sounds even worse. There is $100 down the drain. Really wanting the BSM variant now in hopes I can get a decent sounding copy!

I got an email this morning from Artist First - its the US Deluxe Black variant and it said theyve been advised there is a 1 week delay. Will be shipping 23rd.

Have you had a chance to listen to the Hobbledehoy blk/wht split?

I got my 180g Black yesterday and had the duplicate A/B issue also. My 'proper' A/B also was scratched. I emailed them yesterday and got a reply today to say they are replacing my scratched copy and adding me to the list for the replacement C/D. After listening to the copies I do have I'm not that pumped with the pressing. A lot of surface noise. Anyone listen to the Hobbledehoy copy? It says it's on Virgin vinyl - would double dip if it sounds better.

Should have got the swamp too...dammit! Hope the oxblood isn't far away.

Just got my Five Score this morning! Spinning now and sounds great. Need to revisit Forget and Not Slow Down, it's been a while but pretty sure I dug it a lot when it first came out.

Triple Crown pressings seem to be so inconsistent these days.
