I'm sure it has been said before but the fountain needs a proper vinyl release. One of the most stunning memorable soundtracks in recent memory.

there are also three(!) editions of the soundtrack to the original Solaris by Tarkovsky coming out with music by Edward Artemiev.

i ordered the first one from Boomkat and they already shipped it out a few days ago. cant wait to get it... the music is great. i actually prefer it to cliff martinez's version.
 
Mirumir are also releasing the soundtrack to Tarkovsky's movie Stalker which is also done by Artemiev. it should be available in the next few weeks too.

I grabbed a shirt too. They're really nice and I don't have a lot of shirts I can wear to my daughter's school w/o getting shit.

A bunch of people here, myself included, bought extra for internationals. So if you aren't set on a particular variant I'd say everyone looking in here from outside North America should be covered.

Maniac (both versions), The Beyond and Deadly Spawn are my favorites so far. Since Death Waltz pretty much has horror cornered so well, as well as Wax Works now and One Way Static, I'm fine with Mondo veering off into other soundtracks. I'd like more weird action films though.
 
I love Ghibli, the music and films are always great. When I visited Japan 2 years ago I got to go to the museum, so amazing and worth it. I also ordered a Spirited Away shirt.

Smart for them, look how much faster these things sell out because people order 3-5 to try and get the exclusive. Do you really think there are THAT many people who want The Deadly Spawn OST on vinyl? It's a small market. Drive, being more popular and having pop songs, would do well either way. But some of these, if there wasn't a varriant randomly inserted, would probably still be sitting around unless the runs were super small. I
 
I agree, as a customer it's annoying and sucks. But for Mondo, it's probably a good thing.

I just bought The Book of Eli by Atticus Ross and I must say it sounds great. Might not have been the best movie but it is a great soundtrack!
 
I also purchase the James Bond: Skyfall OST Thomas Newman and it sounds pretty good. But the funny thing about this release is that it comes with a 12 Page LP size photo book. Pretty cool.

I'm not sure how much rhyme or reason here is to purchase time and ship dates. I purchased instantly and it is still pending. They get to them when they get to them.
 
Anyone think Pacific Rim soundtrack might be coming up? Del Toro is a noted Mondo fan and Tom from RATM worked on it. Seems like some nerd bait.
