With all this talk I was thinking maybe I was hallucinating, so I am listening again. I have to say that though it is on the hot side, it sounds really good. So there is hope out there that good copies do exist.

To everyone who seems concerned about their order, this guy has always been a stand up dude. He has a lot of orders to process, pack, and mail out. Give him some time. I put in two separate orders a while ago and I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation. I'm not worried though because he has always come through. I don't see any reason why anyone should be worried.

Man, I want this, but am just gonna have to say no. I know I may be opening up that same can of worms and also flogging the rotting horse, but I am really starting to get tired of $20 and up trend for records. In some cases it's justified, but when labels like Temporary Residence can put out a beautiful two record set for $15, I just wonder why can't everyone else do this? And I am not just talking about Hydrahead, which has been talked to death. I just need to be more selective about what I buy and also vote with my money by not buying overpriced records.

TRL has some clear and grey /300 available on the site. The fact that this is $14.99 for a double lp is a perfect argument against anyone justifying a $20 regular pressing single lp. TRL does it right.

Mine came today and I threw it on the table like it was trash. Wasn't even going to open it. Glad I did. I am only just now listening to the first side, but my copy sounds just fine. Hopefully people can get a replacement. There are no labels, like reported, but it is etched, so not that cheapass. Hopefully side 2 is just as good.

They finally came through. I now have everything I paid for and they gave me a yellow copy too. It was rocky, but ended fine.

Got all three colors today. I really like "Last Last Chance" and the way it breaks into "You, Me & the Violence". His slow howling singing is powerful. I felt that way from Collected and it proves it on this record. I wonder who all the people are on the poster?

My sister works for the company that owns Myspace. I have tried to give her a lot of advice on what needs to change and why. We've talked about what they need to do to become relevant again and what they need to do to lead not play catch up. We've talked about Bandcamp and Facebook and how the new Myspace needs to offer something different. Even though I feel that the video could have been edited more concisely, all signs point to something different with the main focus being music and not what someone ate today for lunch(FB). I am hoping to beta test it. She told me I would be able to get in that group. Any other constructive ideas on what would make Myspace better/different? I can pass them along.

Didn't Rhino make the 180 gram RSD version? Maybe I am confusing the two. In any case, I like the way the RSD version sounds.

I have some later repressing on Ruby and I also bought the new RSD pressing by Rhino. The Rhino one was an amazing step up from the one I had. I can't compare that to original pressings because I'm not shelling out all that money for one. I am very happy with my RSD pressing.

They probably just didn't sell enough bundles. Are there 300 grandma's out there who wanted one of those music box things? Probably not. I am hoping for a bundle with a Caspian needlepoint pillow.

Maybe they didn't master this for vinyl? After everything you guys have said, I'm not really looking forward to this arriving. On another note, If anyone has one of the die cut cover editions of Satanic Satanist check my tradelist or shoot me a price via pm.

You can also save a little money and buy the empty variant jacket for 29.95 euro? What a deal! Hope this cool trend spreads. The Sex Pistols should reissue Great Rock N Roll Swindle with a variant cover and a smashed record inside. People would probably still buy it.

"It's like being around an unfamiliar language long enough that it eventually begins to make sense." This was a great analogy. This is exactly how I feel about Converge. It took me a while for the music to make sense to me, though I always knew that someday it would. I kept on trying and finally understood. Now, I can't wait for this new album and to see Converge in October.

Yep. They only sent me part of my order and it took many emails with failed promises to finally get them to ship. On the plus side they were nice enough to send me an extra record for the looooong wait. I just hope they get more organized because there is only so much you can blame on the pressing plant.
