I paypaled about $85 to matphilly for some records. After a week I asked if they were sent out and he gave me the excuse that he didn't have a car and the post office was two miles away so he was waiting for more orders. It took this dude oever 3 weeks to go the post office. I guess they don't have buses were he lives? I did finally get the records, but it wasn't worth the stress. I will never "gift" anyone money again until we've had a couple transactions. If sellers can't ship the package within a week, then don't put your shit up for sale. Life can sometimes get in the way, but if someone pays you money in good faith, don't be a dick. End of rant.

When I listened to the first song on the stream I almost closed the page, but I let it run and the album got better and better. Now, I listen to the stream at least once a day. Listening to it on vinyl is going to be just that much more intense. Some people are going to be kicking themselves for not getting this pre-order version.

Yeah, I got one of those emails 6 days ago and they wrote me today saying that they are shipping it in a couple days or so. ???

95% got white, and about 5% got blue because the pressing plant shorted us and we got some blue after preorders were sent out. Cool, thanks for the info. I was just wondering if there was a "get lucky" chance to find the other colors in stores. I guess a 5% chance. I know the year ain't even over yet, but this album is definitely my album of the year. I keep listening to it over and over...

We're still waiting. When we have info, I swear to fucking christ, we will share it. Tre, were all the colors of the regular edition sent to stores/distros or just the white?

Finally, after a long hiatus, Hostage Records returns with new 45's by Smogtown and The Junk feat. members of Smut Peddlers. Along with the regular limited edition, they will have The Junk one of a kind handmade sleeves limited to 65, silkscreened signed Smogtown sleeve editions, and TEST PRESS editions with different sleeves limited to 10 each selling for only $11.98?!!! This all happens on June 26th. Not sure what time though. Gilman show was great tonight, many sing/scream alongs. They only had white vinyl left of Parting. No clear duh, but I had to ask. They also had the split with La Dispute on white and the demo on black. Three different shirt designs including a red ink on white shirt of the PTSBBAM logo, maybe a tour version?

I don't know if this is anywhere on the board, I couldn't find it, but here's the pressing info I got from Panic in case anyone is interested: The pressing info for the MDAM/TA Split were 200 Clear (TA Exclusive) 200 Coke Bottle Clear (MDAM Exclusive) 500 Coke Bottle Clear w/black streaks (Panic Exclusive) 500 Clear w/Black streaks (6131 Exclusive) 600 Black Vinyl (Standard Color) I got the pack from Panic and thought they sent me two of the clear with streaks, but when I looked closer one was more opaque. I'm sure these two will get confused more in the future, but I guess they are the same number anyway.

I like the "Horrified Death Metal Punk" description. I wonder if they are horrified by the "Death Scum" or "Throne of Sluts"? Slayer did a "blood" filled pouch CD cover for Reign In Blood. A syringe of real blood sounds like they are trying too hard, but it seems to follow the horrified feeling in their song titles. I wonder how many people will accidentally jab themselves with the needle:o

I agree. As much as I think TTBOADH is amazing I think with Parting the Sea TA has actually increased the intensity with the lyrics, slightly more melodic touches with vocals, and you can hear the progress they've made as musicians. Not to mention the production is better without going slick. I wouldn't really argue with anyone who feels differently because in the end they are both great albums. Now the wait for the deluxe version!

Described it exactly. I don't know how the limited white hasn't sold out yet. Any fans of the previously mentioned bands and new Keith Morris band OFF! would definitely be into this album. I hope they come out the west coast.

Threw down for a hoodie too, so it was probably pretty obvious that I fuckin' dig this band. I don't know how they are deciding. The only downside is my box got banged in the corner, so dingy on all, but hell, I am still very happy.

Out of every 100 times I go to garage sales and regular flea markets I find punk maybe 4 times. I have had some amazing scores on rare pre 70's jazz and rare soul. I figure it will be maybe 10 to 20 more years before more punk stuff starts regularly showing up. Most of the time these trips are a waste of time. You just have to enjoy getting up early and the very slim possibility that you might find something. The golden rule is, get there early or just stay in bed. I've been staying in bed lately.

Finally picked up a Government Warning shirt. Now, if you could just get the Deep Sleep guys to send you some shirts...?
