Same here, I have to admit I was really nervous that the draft would be earlier that week and NXT would be heavily depleted.  That news made my day.

I got 4th row seats for nxt in Houston next month! 
Got online right at 10am and the closest available were 4th row. Crazy how popular nxt has become. I love it!

I brought in a bunch (over 100) of my older records to my local record shop for trade-in credit today, and picked up the following records in exchange (all new):
Jesca Hoop - The House That Jack Built Joanna Newsom - Have One On Me Zero 7 - Simple Things The Kills - Ash & Ice Led Zeppelin - 1st (self-titled), 3-album special edition Tangerine Dream - Ricochet Beth Orton - Trailer Park Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane... Get out of the store, walk 10 paces and the bag handle breaks. Since I was carrying the bag ON MY SHOULDER they all fell from high up, and landed on the sidewalk. Crushed the bottom right corner of every single record. Every. Single. One.
This was one of those re-usable shopping bags that I'm sure has held gallons of milk at a time in the past, and chooses today to break.

I ordered the same record from the same place and mine was packed the same way - you are just being dramatic. Yes, the pieces of packing paper were small, but they served to fill the gap in which other records could've fit in the box. It was just fine.
This is the perfect example of why the cost of records continues to climb. Apparently labels need to factor in a certain amount of loss because someone is going to panic about seam splits and require a refund or replacement.

Would you waltz into the library of congress or the Antiques Road Show: Vinyl Edition with seam splits on your generic sleeves?  Not if you wanted to walk out of there with an official gold-foil stamped certificate of Mint Condition authenticity.  This is the kind of quality assurance we should demand from a four-employee screamo label in North Carolina.
 
But if they send us a second copy that is in slightly better shape so that we can sell the first one on Discogs and make our money back, we are totally cool with that too.

With the exception of maybe the Bossk record, you sound like the worst type of customer there could be. You emailed over split inner sleeves?! Honestly, that CoL/JC collar was packaged great from IndieMerch...

Get fucked Jared. I cant count the amount of times that I've picked up a tour exclusive and sold it at cost to someone. I also cant count the amount of times that someone has helped me out (most recently Doman just this last week)
Those of us who are actually contributing members to this community get more satisfaction out of the feeling knowing that we helped someone out more than making money off something we bought solely to flip.

First of all, I have seen for sale posts from all of you and you guys are all a bunch of hypocrites.  Specifically "batman" is the only person on here who expressed his point of view to me without a passive aggressive slant designed to shame me, or an outright "fuck you".  The truth of the matter is that I bought an extra copy in hopes of either trading with someone on here for a grey smoke variant, or making enough money from selling the tour variant to buy one from somebody.  None of you ignorant assholes bothered to ask me how much I would take for it...  You simply started a witch hunt.  I'm over it...   Nevermind, I'll give it to my buddy just because he is a big fan, and I'll just buy the grey variant somewhere.  Fuck you guys for thinking the worst before ever even asking.

I was at the record release show at the Shrine in LA last night and was able to pick up an extra copy.  So here it is, the tour exclusive variant.  I haven't been able to find the press information, but ive never seen so many people walking around with vinyl at a show in my life.  And there was no limit per person.  If they only pressed 3,000 then I wouldn't be surprised if this variant sells out before they even get out of California.

What are these kids going to learn that's going to make things so much better? Cooler graphic design? More lawyers? People who excel in fields like medicine and technology have drive and want to push boundaries. Not everybody is built like that and they don't all deserve a turn.
 
Everybody wants to make a job, not get a job. You're worrying about an unrealistic endgame while your basic rights are shrinking. You can't even sell friggin' lemonade in public without the state arresting you because you didn't pay for a permit!
 
 

"Democratic  Socialism" is still Socialism. Throwing the word 'Democratic' in front of it doesn't change it's meaning at all. The state will continue to take money I've earned against my will by threatening to lock me in a cage if I refuse to pay it. Unless you know some teachers and doctor who are willing to work for free then I don't know where you think the money for labor, infrastructure, and utilities is going to come from.
 
I can't comprehend how anyone would think there's any method we could take from a socialist country and apply to our own without a disasterous outcome. Venezuela is in shambles while we have this conversation on the Internet via computers/phones (things that wouldn't exist without a freemarket or capitalism).

People need to stop treating college and health care like they're entitlements when really they're both privileges. Nobody is going to let you bleed out in the streets if you don't have health insurance, but if you're expecting regular treatment then you should expect to pay for it. College isn't any different, get a job and pay your way through it. If you can't afford it then learn a trade like plumbing or welding. We have enough social media marketing strategist and audio engineers anyways, ain't a damn thing wrong having a job that requires you to wear steel toe boots to work.

Maybe I put a larger price tag so I have haggle room so both parties in the sale are happy and I came here first so I can sell to hardcore collectors like myself before going the ebay route.
