  1. I can only base what I say off of friends who've had records repressed. It all comes down to the label and if the label isn't too cooperative, how much of your own money you feel like losing on a release. I can't speak on behalf of Island or anyone, so the best person to ask that question would be a contact with them.
  2. Due to a friend, I now have one extra copy each of the Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi - Rome LP (Orange/White vinyl) and the Jack White - Freedom at 21 7" (tri-color). I'm posting this anywhere I can think of. I'm not really sure what to do with them - sell, trade, or eBay them. The Rome LP's sealed, and the Tri's never been played and comes with the jukebox tag and all that. Feel free to make an offer.
  3. degenerex is right. It would take a substantial chunk of change to get those pressed because of Island. Same with Smoking Popes trying to reissue Destination Failure, something I also think should be pressed.
  4. Not bad, but 'Pack Up The Cats' would be killer. I'd feel no pain dropping $25 on that, new.
  5. You should try staring directly into the sun. I've heard that's pretty bright, too.
  6. New rule, derrickcook19941. Stop saying stupid things. And starting stupid threads. Actually. Stop saying things in general.
  7. Bummer. Was staying with a friend in the city without a computer and missed this whole ordeal. Actually, not sure if I'm bummed or not. I would love one of the Pujol tri-colors if anyone picked one up. I'd be willing to negotiate a trade, or pay you cost+ on it. PM me if you snagged one.
  8. Need money for a bigger purchase. Will sell until I've reached the amount. Thanks, http://deadformat.net/tradelist/Jpearin
  9. Got an advanced copy of the new 'Please Please Me' reissue. Sounds fucking phenomenal. So happy.
  10. My girlfriend bought me a sealed copy last x-mas - no surface noise whatsoever. I'd clean it to see if that helps. I've never heard the actual Plain Recordings distributed pressing, although I have a test of it. That's always sounded real good. I'd eventually like to pick up one of the white copies. I just got the plain Figure 8 on red/blue #8/500. Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. Really want a Bong Load pressing of that.
  11. Great show last night. The first band was garbage (in my opinion). In reference to the David heckling, someone'd asked him what his musical influences were, or something of the sort and he'd answered with 'his parents' and explained a little. Immediately after, someone yelled 'borrrrriiiiiiiiiing'. Weird vibes.

  13. You should get Dan from Artistic Integrity Records to paint you something. He did a few really cool Jawbreaker-related pieces for a friend of mine. I think there's a way to contact him at AIR's site - www.artisticintegrityrecords.com
  14. My and Robtheepenguin's band opened for them about 2 years ago. Absolutely miserable. Brought they're own PA and didn't know how to run it. Funny nonetheless. Jerry Only came out the front box office door without make-up or gear on (keep in mind, he's fairly bald) and yelled to the crowd of 100 or so "Is anybody ready for the show?!" Nobody knew who the fuck he was. It was awesome.
  15. Jets To Brazil - Orange Rhyming Dictionary. $10 to anyone who can get me the original insert.
  16. First time I stopped by it was at Reckless in Chicago. Was about 27th in line after an hour and a half wait - snagged a Freedom at 21 Tri-Color. Caught again on Monday in Richmond, VA - got there about 15 minutes before opening and was 17th in line. 3 people ahead of me didn't get Triple Deckers, so I lucked out.
  17. From what I've heard, only 15 Triple Deckers are being let go at each stop. The Rome variant is limited. Just no info as to how many were pressed.
  18. I was number 14 with 2 friends today - was in town playing the Richmond Folk Festival. I scored a triple decker and a Rome LP. One friend grabbed a triple decker and the other just a Rome LP. Solid day.
  19. Never pressed, dude. A rad 10" exists with a few tracks. Unless you want the CD or cassette.
