Soooooooooooooooooo I guess myself and a friend or two are heading down for this....and hopefully the red wings/blue jackets game beforehand. Anyone know of any smashing hotels/places to crash? places to eat (mainly pizza and/or vegan)? cheap place to find tickets to the game? Anything else I should know about columbus besides their sorry excuse for a hockey team? I appreciate all help. This show will kill \m/ -

I've practically already handed in the towel and gone through a case of high life. Tonight has not quite been my night for this little game we have, but I guess I still have a few teams that I can cheer on through the week until they get canned. -

Never heard of it, but into it big time. I'm sure I can look this up, but due to laziness and the sheer passion for others' continued curiousity, is it rare for a team to not lose by 3 or more goals in a season? -

I have one of those white LA jerseys. They always seem to have pretty cool ones, whether lacking in color (Any black/white/grey combos that they frequent) , engulfed in color (The gold and purple from the 70s and 80s), or really any design they've had so far are cool. Anyone have a favorite jersey or logo? No helmet? No problem. -

I can't stand bottom lounge. That air vent above rattles like crazy, and even with a packed house, the brick walls bounce the sound. Not my cup of beer. On the bright side of things, the Lincoln Hall and SubT are my jams. And practically any basements. Wish I would have known about that Chibola fair too. That sounds awesome and super close to home. We need more vinyl presence on the south side.

I'll go to a few during the year whenever I could afford them or if I'm bored, but I always try to hit one game against Columbus. I've yet to go down to visit you guys too, but that is planned for next year's season, certainly. -

Going to win again teehee E: I'm the 9th (and technically last) to sign up at this point. Are you trying to keep it at 8 for sure? If no one else signs up and you don't want bye weeks or what not, I don't have a problem dropping. I usually spend too much time browsing stats anyways. I'll keep checking back. -

Why does it seem like every tampa game I watch, their defense fails miserably? I really like that team (Lecavalier has always been a favorite of mine), however their defense always seems to be pretty smelly too, despite the goaltending issues. That would be scary after seeing how he's been lately. I remember watching him stone everyone when he was killing it for Michigan State. I'll never know why I'm a diehard Columbus fan while being born and raised everywhere near/in Chicago. -

Past Is Prologue is my jam. Wish someone would release it properly, but Dive kills it too. I just wish they'd hit Chicago again already. Bought a ticket for their show a month in advance, and was super stoked to see them, but thought the whole time that the show was actually the day after the show already happened. Twenty bucks and a really awesome night down the toilet.

3 Day Extravaganza

Syria is too far into Virginia. Looking for something a little closer... I think I'm the only one in Chicago that hasn't been to Kumas yet. I could probably list you the menu from hearing about it so much. Yeah my brother wants to hot Milwaukee. Great DIY scene and good people there too so that's my fail safe, his #1 right now. I like the Omaha deal. Will look into that for sure. Appreciate the input, keep them gears turnin'! -
My brother and I are trying to go on a mini trip for three days, considering the odds of us being able to do this again is very rare with 'big boy' jobs and stuff. Anyhow, we're trying to keep it in the midwest (obviously can't go much farther, not having lots of time) and am looking for any suggestions and why? ie. Shows coming up, awesome veg restaurants, breweries, etc. Anything from this thursday (11/29) to early sunday (12/1). I've been researching a few places for a few hours now, but figured some folks on the ol' board may have some hidden gems out there somewhere. Thanks muches!

PO: Title Fight - Floral Green

Seriously if Chicago welcomed them with this, I'm sure I would join it too. I mean, that is pretty damn intense. However, when i say people were headwalking, I mean people jumping off their friends' back (who's on their hands and knees) and literally walk on the heads of people. And this is the kids in 'the pit' doing it to innocents in front of them, to where those trying to watch the show can't even see the feet coming. It was either watch the show and have your head stepped on, or watch the head walkers and be prepared for potential neck, head, and spinal injuries, if not to avoid the feet, and get your ear cut by their shoe. AND they step on your shoulder anyways. Talk about feeling like a bag of bones... -

I don't even know if I could afford it, but I would go almost as far as to say that PBTT is worth it if Title Fight isn't for you. I saw Title Fight a couple years ago (I forgot who they were with, because I wasn't huge on their music before Shed) and couldn't really enjoy it because all of the Chicago Jokexcore kids were head walking. Yes, to Title Fight. Now I am not opposed to head walking by any means, but it was just a little bizarre to get stepped on at a show I wanted to watch a band for once. Oh well...here's to more head walking Sunday if i can make it...
