Underground Communique put this out somewhat recently, and so I'm now telling you about it...it's a different type of thing for the label, as the band is a 2 piece shoegaze band...they've been lovingly dubbed a "duogaze" band by some people, which is pretty cool. The singer is Mike Feerick from Amusement Parks on Fire and the drummer is Micah Calabrese who played in Giant Drag. clearly someone went to the trouble of bootlegging this record. Clint also has a day job, I'm sure that occupies his time and delays him keeping his discography breakdowns current.

that's not splatter, that's a bit of color that was left in the vinyl injector at the plant, which causes a marble-ing effect. also, you could email Clint at Organized Crime just as quickly as posting here.

GITD vinyl usually sounds terrible, something about the GITD elements of the plastic disrupting the electrical field of the record player needle...somebody explained it to me once...

I like the Phenomenauts stuff in smaller doses, they're like Devo crossed with a rockibilly band can't go wrong with the Word Inferno stuff, Andrew Jackson Jihad 7", the Vic Riggiero solo albums, or the Nothing Nice to Say book, all recommended

No, Franz took it away from SH because Virgil stopped responding to his emails...he was pitching the idea around last October and I talked with him at Fest about the possibility of doing the record before he settled on Silver Sprocket because they'd done WIFS & Miitch Clem stuff, so it made more sense to be there.
