It just sounds kinda flat to me.. and flat with a stylus that normally adds more bottom end is not a good thing. I could just be spoiled with the last few releases I've bought though, who knows.. Sounds fine to me Its flat because its Soundgarden in 1997. Band wasnt exactly in their prime

I think the ORG sounded pretty good overall Page doesnt release poor quality(at least in regards to mastering). The song content in his post breakup stuff is horrible I dont know how much more they could of done to make this sound better. Therefore, I am just looking at it as a reissue and not a mastering thing The Failure reissue is amazing One thing that makes this label stand out from others and makes me ok with the price tag is the quality control. Plain records should take a note out of this book

Just yours does. Mine does not Actually I played it on a backup turntable I had that is total garbage and it did but really no weight to the cartridge. On my primary it worked fine. I only heard a few people had the same issues, but I believe it is more of what you are spinning it on The Sparklehorse reissues are unlistenable
