ended up making it out to the 10pm Kyle Kinane show tonight...and it was awesome! So stoked that dude is going to have a Comedy Central special! ...also/part of the awesome-ness was that he had a bit about the tattoo Emily gave him and after the show when I was talking to him it dawned on me who he was and I remembered going to see his pop punk band years ago at the Fireside. Ha! Awesome. Stoked you were able to make it. I wish I could find a copy of his old band's cd. The songs I've heard are awesome.

Ended up not going to haunted houses. Going to cook dinner at my brothers house instead. Still doing the open mic at schubas tomorrow night. Stoked on it. The Kyle show was killer, though I got shit housed afterwards and had a headache today.

I totally disagree. For the most part, it seems people expect more of against me! Mostly because they are capable of making good albums. If this was a debut album from some other band it would have been at the very least enjoyable. But against me put it out, not any other band. If they were debut albums they'd be all people talked about.

Probably but they weren't released by any other band. They were released by Against Me. This is literally one of the dumbest musical justifications I've ever heard.

White Crosses is a good album. New Wave is a good album. Most of this board would like both if they were released by any other band.

Superman is tough but he's not unbeatable. The best stories about Superman are the human stories. Red Son, Death of Superman, All Star Superman, etc etc. That kind of power would be isolating, but more importantly it would put everyone you ever loved and knew at risk. Top serious check out All Star Superman and you'll be stoked.

Superman is freaking amazing. He has to live in a world that basically made of cardboard, limiting himself on how much power and strength he can use, the man could break someone's arm with a high five. He is a god who decides to live with citizens and defends the world with blind ambition. If you ever wanted give Superman a chance, I'd check out "All Star Superman"...it made me stop disliking the dude. All Star Superman is backed hard. Amazing book there.
