This forum is made up of useless fat ugly cringelords my man, trust me even if by some miracle they were accepting of new people/music they still would not be worth having as fans.

Unless you want to flip vinyl, or shit on new users to boost self confidence, this place isn't for you.

    Hey!!

    ...we're not ugly.

  2. I worked at a shitty venue in Pittsburgh (Graffiti), 1993-1995. Helmet played. I was parking cars for patrons that night. Out in the lot, all by my lonesome, all I could hear was the drums, going absolute ape shit. It was seriously insane. I've been a fan ever since.

yes.  I had an order that i elected not to invoice from a foreign buyer early on in my discogs career. i cancelled the transaction (with no fault assigned to buyer) and they were able to leave negative feedback.  im not sure if those rules still apply, as it was a few years ago

To be fair, I would have left a neutral. Negative seems a bit unnecessary if no transaction took place.

So, related question - what's are you guys' policy with used records? Do you manage to take it as it is and accept that old presses can't be perfect or need to have that unmarked wax?

Yes. I will always seek out an original pressing where possible, flaws and all.  As long as the price is relative to the condition, taking into account the rarity. For example, I paid $5 for a very used (Good+)  Defenders of the Faith last week. Then, $15 for a Death Angel - Ultra-Violence in the same condition.  Then, $25 on Kreator - Pleasure to Kill in pretty much the same condition. They all have surface noise and worn covers, but they are still original, and that somehow makes me happy.

  5. These are on Bull Moose. Description on BM goes into detail:

Emperor's back catalogue has been re-mastered by Turan Audio with full guidance from the band, all vinyl art work being carefully restored to how it originally came out as replicas of the 1st pressings of each album by “Dan Capp” Design & illustration to create beautiful vinyl reissues. IN THE NIGHTSIDE ECLIPSE is the bands 1st album, and takes on the full symphonic sound that they were best known for.
