Not when I check. Sure you didn't read the "Autres Versions" as CD? That means "Other Versions".

PO: The Raveonettes-Rarities/B-Sides
sciencekiller replied to thelossadjuster's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Considering the CD has sold for $110 and $165 on eBay, and the LP has sold for $200 on eBay, $150 might be cheap. -
PO: The Raveonettes-Rarities/B-Sides
sciencekiller replied to thelossadjuster's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I'm actually quite glad I dropped the $50 on this... The Discogs price is already silly... http://www.discogs.com/Raveonettes-RaritiesB-Sides/release/3295667 It wasn't worth $50 to me before, it's not worth $150 to me now. I suppose flippers are happy though. The CD sold on eBay yesterday for $165. -
Record Store location app (iPhone/Android)
sciencekiller replied to dreamover's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
They replied to that question on Twitter. Canadian stores will start to be added in 2012. -
I have extra copies of Songs for the Deaf and Lullabies. PM me an offer, but I'm mostly looking to trade, so I might not part with them. I should note Lullabies is the original. And if you want to buy the re-issue, I shopped around and Juno Records in the UK is the cheapest I found. With shipping it is $39 US, most places are selling it for $40 plus shipping.

What pressing of Pet Sounds is it? Can you give me a Discogs link to the exact one? Thanks

MELVINS - Endless Residency Box set AmRep U.S. ver
sciencekiller replied to a topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Considering they are live albums, I see no need to recreate the original album's artwork. And the set you are seeing on eBay is the UK version is cardboard pizza boxes which were around $200-250 when released (if I remember correctly). -
I agree about PS I Love You, but Quest for Fire are pretty far from shitty indie crap.

it didnt say anything, i emailed him and here is the original email i received saying some other bands expected: "It is one of those great times for me that I can announce the release of a new subscription for the Volcom Ent Vinyl Club in 2012! Available for immediate shipping is VEVC0025, a Melvins / Totimoshi split 7” limited to 200 copies on swirly green colored vinyl with a download code included. Since we only have a very small amount of copies of VEVC0025 to offer with our latest subscription, I wanted to make sure that all vinyl shoppers at our web store get first shot before we announce the subscription to the rest of the world. After you receive the Melvins split, VEVC will show up throughout the year with at least 5 more 7”s. Expect to see new music from classics, recent favorites and upstarts alike with new music from Wino, Kurt Vile, Jennifer Herrema, Jeff the Brotherhood, Pink Mountaintops, Night Beats, TRMRS and more. If you’ve ever subscribed before then you know the drill. The first 50 subscribers will also receive the debut 7” from The Shining Twins featuring “Greasy Bear” b/w “Stix + Stones” as an additional record for their subscription. In addition to free vinyl, the first 50 subscribers from the U.S. and Canada will receive a special gift from VEVC’s parent at Volcom. Thanks for your continuing support, Kurt / VEVC P.S. A lot of peeps have asked me about the Melvins split already, so here’s the deal. Both Melvins and Totimoshi have had copies of this record available for sale at shows only. A few of these copies have crept upwards of $150 on eBay. Both bands’ copies are on uniquely colored vinyl, as is the VEVC version. That means if you got the record from Melvins it’s on different colored vinyl than if you got it from Totimoshi and both of these are different than the swirly green ones I have on offer today. I have a very scant amount of very special A/B side vinyl that will be available in January, but, as a warning, I expect these to go fast. P.P.S. PLAY IT LOUD!!!!"

I ordered 15 minutes after I got the email, emailed Kurt and he confirmed I was in the first 50. Melvins, JEFF the Brotherhood, Night Beats, Pink Mountaintops and more. Can't complain about that.

Third Man Records Vault (Worth It?)
sciencekiller replied to BuzzersonKillwell's topic in Everything Else Message Board
it seems you can get the packages that aren't white stripes, dead weather or raconteurs on the cheap. just saw the last package (wanda jackson) go for $35 on ebay. just goes to show that they should stop releasing LP's in the vault if they're not a jack white band. brings down the value of the vault. or people should stop buying vault packages with the sole intent to flip them. i know a bunch of people who thought they were going to cash in and can't sell them for cost now. just let people who want it buy it. -
looks like the picture is now switched? hope i get the right one! and ... FREE SHIPPING FOR CYBER MONDAY!!! there shipping is a little steep so if you were going to order get it tonight!!!! I emailed them about shipping and never heard back. It is ridiculous and I told them I have not ordered multiple items from them because of it. But because they just use a 3rd party (and that's who I email), no one seems to care.Did anyone order from Amoeba? American X is supposed to be web store only, but Amoeba has copies up for sale. Wondering if I'd get a colour Baby 81 if I order from them.

They are playing David Comes to Life in Toronto on December 20. I have tickets, but am mostly going to see Quest for Fire open (although I like the new album more than most apparently).

Third Man Records Vault (Worth It?)
sciencekiller replied to BuzzersonKillwell's topic in Everything Else Message Board
And if you follow the Vault close enough, they occasionally have Vault rarities. I just won the exclusive cover/colour of the Black Belles album through the Vault. Not that I would sell it, but if I were to do so, it would pay for a lot of future and past Vault subscriptions. -
Parasol Records has copies (http://www.parasol.com//catalog/catalog.asp?zoomtitle=86608&thepage=/catalog/catalog.asp) and it is 15% off as they are closing up shop. Don't know if they are one of the sites you don't trust, but I've never had problems with them.

where at? not the same record store, but sonic boom in toronto currently has them out saw them today

Beach Boys Smile Sessions Question
sciencekiller replied to antoine's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I wouldn't give up quite yet, even though it is free. I found this email address: [email protected] Was that the one you were trying? -
I've order many records from the States to Canada and usually the price sticker indicates it between $7-9 depending on the weight and packaging.

So if I read that correctly American X will be a picture disc through the web store only? Unfortunate, but good news about Baby 81 and in the future, Howl.
