Not sure what you guys expected but the original LP is $30 with a gatefold. The reAnimated LP is hand-cut by the band in real time. I know that plain black discs run around $15 so I imagine the cost for the picture disc was about $25 a piece and then you add in at least an hour manual cutting time plus setup per record and there you go. I didnt expect that this would come in a gatefold jacket at that price point which is why I just stuck with the standard LP release. Perhaps you can reach out to the band to see if they have any extra jackets?

I believe so, I was in there today and they all had $9.99 stickers over the price tag. I don't see them ripping all those off or printing new tags. This looks to me as a way to get these duds off the shelf to make room for new/better selling releases.
