So now we're believing the fully unconfirmed and second-hand report of an unnamed person who supposedly went to the bar, in a facebook post no one can link to, over multiple instances by the actual person doing the sale stating when the onsale is happening. Cool. Great. $500 says Matt told this theoretical person Sunday and their drunk ass heard Saturday.

His latest FB post reiterates Sunday at noon.

I get that, but he's also making it harder on himself and everyone else for no real reason.

Matt, my dude, please put more than 8 copies up at a time. Maybe just put them all up. I don't mind waiting a couple weeks for you to ship the damn thing. This one 30-second buying window once a week where the site can't handle everyone because there's only 8 copies thing is getting real old.

I did read the Facebook thread, of which the part where Matt specifically addresses the meaning of the phrase "sold out" in relation to this album's sale has been cut-and-pasted here no less than twice. And still, people still ask here, with the pasted Facebook post from Matt right there on the page they're posting on, "it's sold out already???!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?" Good lord. In the first picture, the records are lying flat in the box because the box is on its side. In the second and third pictures, the records are aligned vertically.

They fit in exactly the way you would expect 12" squares to fit inside a 12.5 x 12.5 x 6" box.

Was talking with Bull Moose today and they "99%" confirmed that these are getting a US release. So far they've only been able to fully confirm First Band but they expect an announcement "any day".

AF weren't saying to themselves "we gotta tailor this especially for the DIY emo kids, they're our target market" when they were writing AF2. They were just making a bunch of fucking songs. It's also hilarious that apparently the only validation that someone out there actually likes that album you would accept would be if there were a website somewhere where people talked about liking it. The natural state of people online since the onset of forums and whatnot is bitching about things they don't like. The sold out crowd when I saw them last fall didn't seem to think that it "spit in their faces", since they all showed up. People I know offline like it, but of course they didn't post about it on Cool Scene Kids Dot Com or whatever so there's no "proof" of that.
