I actually bought a pretty expensive ring from a guy who sells on Etsy and other sites and the transaction was fantastic. Me and my girl agree never to buy diamonds (which is awesome for my wallet) because it's just an industry we don't want to support. But goddam some of these rings look nuts

That project got pretty much abandoned on the spot. By the time they would have had to mix it properly, master it for vinyl and get it ready it would have taken too long. With tapes they could just slap it together and it makes no difference. I was pretty shocked when I even saw they were giving these demos a release at all.

He's not responding to everyone because he's ignored me on every platform I've attempted to contact him on. To the point where I have messages on here I can see he hasn't even opened, like the message with my mailing address after he requested it. I think this may be a pretty easy way to tell if he's shafting or not, and it is finally my lesson learned for ignoring EVERYTHING people had told me for so long. But we opened up a pretty decent dialogue on this board prior where we had done some talking etc. so I sent him my money (thankfully it was only about $30) as a gift on paypal. So there's no way I can get it back. DId anyone else send as a gift? If so and those people are being ignored we may have at least some grounds to reason he's for sure just scamming the people where he can get away with it.

I think it's more so just the Menzingers way of saying thanks to the label that gave them a chance in the first place when they could have easily just not done anything except the new Epitaph release. I agree it would have been cool for some alternative songs but after announcing the signing they seemed to put together the record super quick and get in the studio equally as fast. They probably didn't have the spare tracks just lying around, with the exception of Irish Goodbyes but then that's already on Mixed Signals.

Happy Hollow is BY FAR their most underrated record, I think it's absolutely amazing. One of their best.

For $40 I got Brand New's The Devil and God (white), Joyce Manor - S/T (pink), B&C/Tigers Jaw split (before the repress) and Balance and Composure - Only Boundaries. Awesome for both not having to pay inflated prices and I really like all those records.
